Some guy tweeted his friend is on a plane to Knoxville and Gruden is on it. I know it’s probably a lie, but that should get the Gruden thread turning even quicker lol

I agree with this. It's looking more and more like Butch is a giant dhead. I've worked for guys like this that make everyone else think they are great people outside of the walls then turn around and bully employees like 60 year old women behind closed doors and threaten to fire them if it ever gets out.

I'd love for someone to come in and have the young men love playing for this great university and not despise their time when they leave.

Rumors a while back that Gruden would be back in town for homecoming. Hubbs said they were trying confirm. He was unable to shoot it down at the time. Not sure if he ever got an answer on that.

Could be totally wrong, but Butch has always struck me as a guy who was almost totally fake. If a dude is real, he doesn't sound like a robot 24/7.

Helm was a homeschooled kid from a very orthodox Christian household. Very soft spoken guy. Never cussed or made any noise. A little bit of a pushover in practice. Maybe not a fit in SEC football.

Anyway, to "toughen him up", Butch called him up in the front of a team meeting and made him say "I'm a huge f***ing puss*".
