That works both ways. I am sure I can link policy saying a state job has to be open 10 weeks, 3 on campus interviews have to be made before any offer is allowed. We know from experience their is a waiver that can be gotten to eliminate that timeframe rule. So not sure a link proves anything
Would it help if I gave you specific examples of coaches who signed documents while a different coach was still technically employed?
Would it help if I gave you specific examples of coaching positions that weren't posted before being filled? I can do both..
I haven't hit a wall. You are wrong, I am right. Pretty simple.......
Sometimes I forget how important it is to have elite coaches AROUND the Head Coach.
If we get Mullen, who would you realistically like to see at position and coordinator?
Yea give me an example of coach that signed before the sitting coach was officially let go.....
Tony Skole, baseball coach at ETSU left for the Citadel. He wasn't going to be retained. His position wasn't advertised. The AD simply identified the person they wanted to hire and hired that person. Trying to trip me up with "officially" won't work. That's not real world or how things often go down.
Actually read up on MOU's and found out they're not any kind of legally binding document. Just more of a formal "gentlemans agreement". Often used in place of contracts, or as a bypass to a contract already in place. So theoretically speaking I guess Griden could have signed one.
