I agree with the previous poster stating he doesnt think Frost turns down UF and Nebraska for UT.
Florida is the better job and Nebraska will always have the pull being his Alma mater.
Florida is a better job that Tennessee but it's not by a wide margin. Their facilities aren't as good and they just fired a guy in his third year after he won the east his first two. I could see a lot of coaches, hopefully Frost being one, perhaps choosing Tennessee over Florida.
Which coaches would you, to varying degrees, be happy with?
Agreed. So why should we break the bank?
We would be competing against UCF not Florida in that case. Hope that makes sense
It would be easier to win, but he has mentioned how he needs the right athletes to run his system. If he doesnt think he can get those athletes to Nebraska then he wont go, IMO.
Im not sure that it would make any difference if we are competing against UF because they would do the same thing.
I dont think its a given he leaves UCF either. He was very patient waiting for a HC job that he really liked the first go around. He wont leave unless its the perfect situation that he wants.
I don't think UF is the better job. Worst facilities in the SEC, clearly no support for a back to back division winning coach. Even some of the UF media have been saying UF is not a good job.
I am talking about assistant coaching salary pool. If Frost would bring most of his UCF staff then we should be able to get out cheap in that area.
