You know it’s bad when Bruin can’t even find anything to try and troll about to go against what is obviously in front of us.

When he tries to pull out the “real fan” card, it’s worse than we even imagined.

I'm thinking that if one's accepting the perpetuation of a losing culture, maybe they are not the real fan.

He’s not even hated by most. From what I can tell, maybe not even many. You said “universally “ just to make a point, but it’s not close to true. That kind of negativity needs to stop if we hire the guy. Creating a false negative narrative about your own coach is Bahama John level stupid.

Answer seems simple to me. Hire Fulmer as interim coach. Wait till the NFL season ends and see if anyone’s available they can take our program to the next level. If not, ride with Phil until next year and make quality hire not a rushed one.

Every one of those and MORE (Les) would take this job if the right money and terms were in place. This AD has clearly shown they don't know what they are doing and don't know how to properly hire a coach... Competent people with UT's best interest would have had this wrapped up two weeks ago. We never offered people like Mullen, so now here we are.

I don't know this Dorean guy at all, but I can promise you that if he's hired, he will never say one interesting the entire time he's the coach. Toughness, day by day, left it on the field, etc etc who cares why are you talking

The reason you hire a coach like Les Miles or Mike Leach or even Kiffin at this point, is because of how they build a national profile for your program. The media likes them, they say silly funny things, and your college gets a lot of national attention. These coaches also fend to win a lot, which helps.

And they're not worried about what you're saying on twitter. I can't believe how stupid they think we are.

Co-sign. That’s why Fulmer was such a terrible hire.

Edit: I get your point and actually agree, but if Doeren is the guy, it can still work out and we need to support him.

Our rivals are going out and making slam dunk hires while our program (Haslam) wants to make the worst hire possible. But why? ? Why is he doing this and why the hell is Peyton helping him?

I’m totally on board with this, but there is one big challenge with this plan, and that is filling out the staff under Fulmer.

At this point no one can deny or argue that the Haslams and the AD are trying to find the worst candidate possible when there are clearly better ones out there, some of them even letting us know they are interested...
There's no way any sports media/journalist can spin this type of hire as a positive or say this is best for UT.

Unless we are waiting on a coach that is working this weekend, it appears Chad Morris is the best option available, assuming A and M doesnt offer him.
