The veto card is a one time use item. If we start trying to veto left and right, then it makes this fanbase exactly what national media said we were on Sunday and Monday.

The dream is dead and buried. We just have to hope that this hire can help TN float at around the same level it was the two year prior to this season and make a better hire in a couple years.

Who knows, maybe Doeren puts together a really nice staff and it works out like it did for Dabo a few years ago.

I don't believe that coaches are refusing to even look at this job. Brohm was going to take it yesterday!

More misinformation. And if Doeren turns us down, it gives the people looking to oust Currie more leverage.

The absolute best thing that can happen during this coaching search is the ouster of Currie and appointment of Fulmer as AD, whether temporarily or permanently. Let him sign the contract at midnight while Jimmy is dreaming of 0-16 seasons in Cleveland.

And then let him go find us a real coach.

at this point who cares what they think. We been s*it on for a decade. They are gonna hate us no matter how we respond. I dont use twitter but i dont care if they raise hell. Administration deserves it and the bill came due like Rucker said.

Steele or Doeren??

Might be heading toward that

Steele.

If we are taking a chance I'm taking it on a UT man. Hope he has learned over the past 15 years under AMAZING head coaches and apply that to the Door mat Baylor team I took over.

Did Kevin Steele have a nervous breakdown a few years ago? What were his health issues a while back?

I was wondering that the other day. I remember some stuff coming out about him after that West Virginia game when they gave up 70. I think people said he started calling stuff he ran in the 90's or something.

Spot on! And it's what VolsReVOLt said would happen today- is that Skeeter or someone else? Don't believe this narrative it's what they are counting on! Oh no one wants to come here because we are crazy fans no we aren't. We are standing up to this monster Haslam!

All this Doeren talk got guys like Dana Holgorsen, Major Applewhite, Skip Holtz, Jason Candle, Scott Satterfield, Blake Anderson and Neal Brown sounding pretty good right about now.

Pretty sure he had panic attacks on game days and fainted some. From what I can tell he has that fixed

Great. A guy who faints on gameday while serving as a coordinator wants to return to head coaching with his 9-36(1-31) head coaching record.

Sounds like a good plan. :birgits_giggle:

Yep. The minute Currie is out and Fulmer is named AD is the moment this search would change.

Coaches would have confidence in who their boss was going to be and that he had a functioning brain. It would at least be a start but somehow Bev and the Haslam’s would still try to **** it up.
