I don't actually worry about his nonsense anymore, I just responded because of the group of posters perpetuating the same agenda.

2 of my nephews are black and I have the pleasure of spending a great deal of time with them. They assist me almost anytime I need help, despite their youthful and busy lives.
They believe in real equality. Which means they hate a group of victims and protesters running around pointing fingers and signs everytime someone says something questionable.

Nah, they wanted to be treated the exact same as me when I get insulted or questioned. To them equality actually means equal, not special. Crazy, I know.

A Tuesday timeline by Hyams would actually make more sense for Petersen (no champ game) than Frost.

If nothing happens Sunday or Tuesday it may be we are waiting on Frost?

My take from the Hyams article is that if nothing happens by Tuesday, that means we’ve been turned down by a lot of coaches. I think if this lingers past Tuesday it’s time to hit the panic button. Repeatedly!

He’s already realized he’s not a candidate or he’s already decided he’s not coming here. That’s why him and Norvell are recruiting our players. Not because “they may be coaching here” as they are telling our commits. It’s the exact opposite IMO.

Small buyout for Petersen-- something like $2.5M. Could be a sweet deal. He's turned down both UCLA and SC in the past, but if he's interested in the SEC... why not us?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Nothing new of significance on the search front this morning. All eyes are on Currie starting tomorrow to see if he interviews Dan Mullen. Logic says they can get together tomorrow. We have no confirmation that something is scheduled at this point.

I was told last night that Mullen has refused to have any kind of dialogue (including phone calls) with Currie or any AD's to this point because his regular season is not over.

Jimmy Hyams was saying after SECCG just a few days ago. Now his timeline is early next week. Jimmy is getting led around my his nose. He hasn’t a clue.

Petersen would be a freaking home run. But today it’s him. Yesterday it was Campbell. The day before it was Frost. Then it was Mullen, then Gruden. A new name is at the top every day.

It could go on until January and all the Gruden people will have convinced theirselves even more so that it's going to be him. "Well he wants to spend Christmas with his family instead of being out on the road recruiting. Come January 1, we'll have our white whale. Soon." Then, we'll trot Bozo to the podium and the same ones will be lapping Bozoisms up in about a week.

LWS clarified his Petersen prediction on VQ...

I like him as a choice but not sure I said he would be the hire. As tight as things are, there are few people that know who it might be. I certainly don't KNOW..

I believe something is happening quickly. Not saying with any certainty its Petersen. Just would be my # 1 choice

The good thing about this is that it doesn’t feel like we’re about to hire Bobo or Norvell. I think Currie will hire someone we’ll be happy with.
