Nah. Not enough talent to pull two upsets. Oklahoma win was nice but Boise wouldn’t have been able to pull that off two weeks in a row in a playoff setting.

The good thing about this is that it doesn’t feel like we’re about to hire Bobo or Norvell. I think Currie will hire someone we’ll be happy with.

I’ve fallen off the mountain. For some reason the longer things have gone, the closer UF sounds to Kelly, and the more names are thrown out for us, the more concerned I am we are going to be at the Bobo or Norvell level when the dust settles next week.

I just have visions of us down 59-7 to UF in the third quarter to start every SEC season, having to pin our hopes on beating Nick Saban a few weeks later to have any prayer of competing for an SEC title...

Honestly before all of this I was skeptical whether even letting JJ come back to the team would be for the best or not.


But the timing of this and the way it was handled reeks of reactionism and incompetence.

One man's reactionism is another man's decisiveness. You think "insert your favorite coaching candidate" wouldn't have done the same thing to any disgruntled player who did what JJ did?

Most of us agreed with you. There's always a small loud minority who insist coaches never make bad decisions.

Jennings was an elite wr. But I agree with moving Byrd since they stopped using him. Although, he looked great at wr as a freshman

He was an elite WR in an offense that underutilized him. You can't judge a college wr off stats. He was a top 5 wr in the league coming into this year

JJ wasn’t elite...yet. Anyone saying he didn’t have a chance at being elite this year after finally being the #1 target is plain fooling themselves though. He had all the tools to be elite.
