Are we really still talking about JJ?

Let the new coach sort it out. It's clear it wouldn't matter until we get a new coach anyway since he made it abundanly clear he doesn't want to play for this one. Or even stand on sidelines.

OK, not going off stats, he struggled to get open and had way too many drops.

I disagree. He wasn't a burner who could outrun everyone, he wasn't a shifty guy who could get open every time, he didn't run great or even good routes, he didn't have glue on his hands. He wasnt amazing at anything. He was solid and had a ton of heart and would have been good at any position he played, but he wasn't going to be an elite WR.

He had the size and heart. Slow, bad route runner, average hands. Would not of been drafted

I hope the team can rise above all the distractions and get a last win for the seniors. We need to start clean slating everything on Sunday.

We need JJ next year. Take a look at the roster.

Idk about that. Didn't run very precise routes, didn't have elite speed, and wasn't a natural pass catcher. He was an elite competitor though. Just don't think he's an elite wide out.

Google is your friend. Won everywhere he’s been and outcoached coaching giants (Bob Stoops, Chip Kelly etc) in the process. And by “won” I mean big.

FTR my post was not about Peterson at all. Have heard his name from no one. Everything points to Frost in my eyes. Currie is wants him bad.

Personally I would prefer to be wrong and get Peterson if that's an option.

I completely disagree and will just leave it at that. There’s been enough arguing over JJ for the last 24 hours.

I would too I heard something from one person within the AD but I believe LWS to be the most keyed in person on VN. I love a Frost hire but a Peterson hire would be over the top great if realistic.

I do believe Larry qualified his response as saying who would be his first choice and that he thinks they have reached out to him that's far short of saying he is the guy.
