Not that I doubt you Eazy, but I definitely think this process should've lasted longer than just 2 days. Surely they would've interviewed 10 people or so.

Butch said coaches were blowing up his phone. Maybe he did 10 interviews in 2 days.

I wouldn't be ecstatic for two mains reasons:
1. He has no experience coaching this system.
2. He is not a coach that is familiar with the QB position. The last time he had anything to do with QB's was in 85.

Those two factors were what Butch listed as his two most important requirements yet Debord doesn't fill either. The only way this hire would make sense is if Mahoney is let go and we hire a pure QB coach while also making Azzani Co-OC.

Makes me want to question everything Butch says and promises. Oh man.. I'm going full Catbone.

On a serious note though, Butch said those requirements would be essential in the hire yet neither was.

Oh ok.. We'll see how this goes. I do like the idea of DeBord and durden as co-offensive cooridators. But I guess its just DeBord.

I'd wait to see what CZA does first. He walks and there could be more to it.

Entirely too premature. Butch knows what he is doing although this hire would be a head scratcher. Coffins and Butch shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence with the trajectory we are on.

The only reason I can think of this guy being hired is because Butch coached under him, he has nothing else going for him. That is not a good reason to hire someone as OC in the toughest conference in America.

Instead of a high expectations till proven otherwise, I'm not going to expect too much from him till proven otherwise.
