I'm waiting on the day where male and female (maybe just female) have to sign off on a form to have sex.

The very moment a female takes a sip of alcohol, she is deemed unable to give consent.

This is by law. You didn't need to give this elaborate story. If she drinks, it's considered sexual assault.

I have a hard time believing this is true. I really don't know, but this seems crazy.

Out of curiosity, can you quote the actual statute that states this?

Watching Jennings run for a TD yesterday, my first thought was he's fast! My second was can the coaches get him on the field this year in some capacity? RB? WR? Seems a shame to have him sit out this fall as a RS QB.

Just looking at the O&W game over and Debord is already a better play caller. Offense has a much better flow to it.

Now on defense, I really want the backups safeties starting bad. :)

This is from a workshop/lecture/whatever you want to call it I went to last week.

They reiterated several times:

- If alcohol is involved, you're pretty much done for.
- You must gain VERBAL consent.

That is just what I heard.

I'd rather not get into this discussion, for the sake of everyone reading this thread.

Also is it over with for Pearson here? If so hate to hear that.

I think the prudent move is to assume so. If evidence exonerates him, then it's a bonus for the upcoming season., but IMO, it's better to assume he won't be back and avoid disappointment down the road. See: AJ Johnson.

(All these statements are football related, not getting into the social issues.)

Yeah I'm staying out of the social side of it too. There's quite a few cases on both sides of the stick that were ruled incorrectly.

What? California is where all the crazy, nonsensical laws start at. Their politicians are mostly nutcases. JMO FWIW

CA is live and let live. Partying and drinking are part of the Hollywood culture. Anything goes, and attempting to legislate morality isn't very CA.

My goodness Hurd is going to have a huge year. This guys burst and footwork are so much better this year. He just looks better overall as a player. Kamara is a compliment but make no mistake Hurd is the MAN at RB. If he were to get 1200-1500 yards this year I wouldn't be surprised.

Ya a signed consent law is more Massachusetts, Vermont or another new England state style

Watching SEC Now, and they were showing top returning RBs this year. Mentioned dude from UK with 550 yards, but no mention of Hurd. I hope he saw that and decided to truck a few more LBs just to make a point. If he gets to 240+ and keeps his speed, oh my.

No kidding. Seeing him get to and turn the corner in the O&W game was pretty awesome. He really seemed to have added a step...while also adding muscle. If he actually managed to get faster & stronger...then I believe that Chubb and friends will have a run for their money this year when it comes to the best back in the SEC.

Yes he does look better. I think part of it is just getting better and some is he's fresh. I think he got worn down late in the season. I hope him and Kamara stay healthy; they will compliment each other well.

My nephew played in the quarter finals of the state championship in rugby (his team came in 3rd!), had never watched rugby before, but it reminded me very much of a Bajakian called game. No forward passes, all lateral plays even backward passes :)
Bajakian might be a genius OC for a rugby team :salute:

Watching the O&W game, will Jennings make a better WR or S?

Discuss.

I would love to see what he can do at WR. Especially now that VP looks to be a goner. Would help balance out the numbers and give him the best shot at early playing time.
