We have so much positive press out there about us right now.

The insecure part of me is almost afraid for the season to start. Nervous we will mess it up and with it our awesome momentum.

Rob Cassidy of Rivals & Paul Fortenberry of VolQuest have reported that UT currently leads in the recruitment of several high-profile Florida WR prospects. 4* Freddie Pinder, 4* Kemore Gamble, & 3* Johhny Huntley all have recently named the Vols their current leader. Cassidy & Fortenberry stated that there is more positive chatter about UT football amongst Florida recruits than there has been in a long time. Fortenberry also points out the truly remarkable recruiting job by Coach Jones and staff & references the fact that these Florida prospects are naming the Vols their leader before ever even visiting UT's campus.

QB recruiting making receivers say, "hmmmm."

I've streamed every UT game since 2010 when I cut my cable. Up until last year via Watchespn from a netbook attached to my HDTV and it's been really good. At times the video quality would degrade but it was very watchable. Last year on the SEC networks via the same computer it was much worse and it would stall and get very choppy. I have 35+Mbps cable internet and usually it's very fast and video streaming works great. However, the Watchespn app on my android table worked great with no issues. I'm thinking it's a browser issue but tried all the latest versions if Chrome, IE, Firefox, Opera or it could be the netbook.

I'm pretty certain this is a WatchESPN issue. They're prolly getting flooded now that a lot of people have the SEC Network and have to watch SEC+ on WatchEspn.

I have Dish which gives me access to streaming both at DishAnywhere and WatchEspn. When I tried to watch SECNetwork content through WatchEspen I had the same issues as you. What surprised me though is that I could open up DishAnywhere through my browser and stream the exact same thing with no issues whatsoever. DishAnywhere is a big part of Dish's services and offers things like blockbuster@home so they have a lot more invested in making sure their streams go right.

Hopefully, WatchESPN corrects the issue but the year before not nearly as many people had access as do now and a lot of that was due to their providers picking up SEC+ and increasing the traffic to it a great deal.

Same here. If I use Comccast Xfinity App to watch live TV for ESPN networks it works great but the Watch ESPN is hit or miss.

Five 2015 SEC quarterbacks who could be special

4. Sheriron Jones, Tennessee

The Vols signed three quarterbacks in the 2015 cycle and have four-star Jarrett Guarantano committed for 2016, but fans of the Big Orange should not forget about Jones, who was a late-in-the-cycle addition from Moreno Valley, Calif. (he was committed to Florida for most of the cycle). Jones has good size at 6-foot-2, a strong arm and can make things happen with his feet. It would not surprise at all if he were the heir apparent to Joshua Dobbs once the current Vols starter departs Knoxville.

Funny because I swear remember it being mentioned that we were going to focus less on Florida recruits and move our efforts more towards Louisiana kids.

Looks like Golson is apparently visiting UF today.

Crap. I know how they will beat us this year.

Grier and Harris will both get abused by Barnett and Maggitt, but the SEC will approve Golson's transfer at halftime.

Golson will take over in the second half and UF will score 35 unanswered points.

He will then promptly retire from football.

Pretty sure we're never going to BACK DOWN on Florida recruits...ramping up LA recruiting doesn't require that action.

Lol. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

I really don't understand the fear that some Vols fans have about Golson ending up in the SEC. This isn't like the DGB situation where he is transferring b/c of legal issues. He is transferring because he isn't going to win the starting job. Anyone who watched his last few games at ND should not be worried.

Every time I start to feel this way I just go look at the two-deep. This team is going to be good.

I wonder how different our season would have been if Kamara decided to come here instead of Alabama.

He probably would have beat Lane in 2013 to back up Neil.

A sophomore Kamara+freshman Hurd+senior Lane would have been a great combo last season. We definitely beat Florida with Kamara in the mix, IMO.
