And doc..I am only saying this. What male among us has not gotten into stupid fights..just because we are boys, and sometimes the stupid in us comes out. My lord, people act like they have always been saints. Jeez..JJ is a boy who just got out of high school, and some folks here sound like he should be ruined for life. That is nuts. Correct him according to common sense..and move along.

Good post

I am in the process of re watching each game from last year (except Florida). Hurd really had an underrated game against Oklahoma. That game was really a lot closer than I remember. If end of year Dobbs plays in that game I think we would have had a really good chance of winning.

I really hope Debord keeps feeding the producers on offense. Hurd would rip off a 25 yard run and then we would throw three straight incompletions

Yeah it seemed like they were killing us due to all the sacks but if Worleys pass to Croom late isn't picked then I think that would have pulled us within 7 if I recall correctly. I could be wrong on exact number but I remember feeling devastated after that play because we were coming

the pick 6 Worley threw on the goaline was a 14 pt swing. We punch it in there and its 27-17 and we have a ball game. Instead he throws a pick 6 and its 34-10. That was a huge blow but yeh it was fairly close on the road for a while. Good shot to beat them this time.

2010 Music City Bowl 😡

"There is no penalty on the play. The game is over"

wild cheering, SEC-SEC-SEC-SEC chant, "Nah nah nah, hey hey hey, goodbye" directed at tiny UNC fans section

"Oh, wait, sorry. UNC committed a penalty and we're putting 1 second back on the clock and they get to kick a field goal, LOL"

That was awful. Just awful.

Did we used to have a lot of kids being named strength and conditioning all Americans or is this a new thing?

I don't recall ever hearing much about anything like this until Dave Lawson took over. It seems like he has a few each year now. Kerbs, Sutton, Jordan Williams and Coleman just got named to one. JRM got a hammer strength one last week.

A good sign of them boys putting in work or Lawson got the connections.

Sounds like an award the coaches lobby for for the players. I'm sure the players are doing great but I also am guessing this staff promotes the players more. They go after any publicity they can get. It's great.

we also got screwed on the fumble call right before the half where they got points out of it. That was ridiculous.

Stryker was all over the place in that game. We didn't have answer for him all game long...and I'm pretty sure running right at him would have been exactly what he wanted.

Guys, I've got absolutely nothin'. Just wanted to see who wants to be my 1,000th "Like." Freak, it would be an honor if you pulled the lever. :whistling:

I saw a lot of people in tears streaming out of LP Field that night. Brutal loss.

Brutal indeed. I had to watch the closing minutes of that game on the jumbotron while standing on the Shelby Street Bridge because I let my friend convince me the game was over and that we should get a head start on the celebratory libations. Poor form on my part to leave a game early. I still can't shake the feeling that it jinxed us. Plus, several people in my family are big UNC fans, so I am still catching crap over that loss. That game represents a total shame nexus in my life as a Vols fan.

I heard several people analyzing the game last year against OK argue exactly that we should have run at him, not away from him. That is how you neutralize someone who is a speed rusher only. Send someone to get in his way and read how he reacts...

Granted, I don't know what I'm talking about, but it makes sense to me.

I sure would like to see us run a few 2 back sets with Hurd laying the hurt on Stryker while Kamara takes off between the tackles!
