At some point, you do have to draw the line. It is freaking crazy that guys can't be on campus for longer than two months without doing stupid stuff. This is no longer funny. It is a serious problem and be cute and funny all you want but at some point, your dollars are supporting things that can't be justify. Seriously, 14 year old girls. What's next? 5 year olds? Would you then treat it so lightly?

You might as well just stop watching all sports. This happens everywhere but you just don't see it since its not a school you follow closely. Mack Crowder is just disgusting and how could anyone know this would happen. He did nothing while he was here, hes gone now so not really a UT issue is it? He is just getting labeled a former UT football player to grab headlines and more readers.

I don't understand why people think this is a problem in relation to staff and administration. They can't control what a kid does at 3AM. They control how they react to it and as far as I can see they always act correctly.

Omen of good things to come.

I was reading up this morning on Volnation while one of my sons was eating breakfast and playing with his Rubix Cube(funny how they've made a come back). The first thing I pull up was the story of Johnson getting dismissed from the team. With all this stuff going on, I was pretty disgusted. When I got done reading, I slammed my phone down on the counter and said "You've got to be kidding me!" That is when my son walked over and showed me his Rubix Cube and said "Don't worry dad, GO VOLS!" Needless to say, it put a smile on my face. Don't worry fellow Vol fans, 2016 is right around the corner and good things are coming our way!

Obviously I'm not a legal guy. Is this what happens when charges are dropped?

Serious question.

I have no idea. I was targeted a few years ago by a family of criminals. I became somewhat familiar as it pertained to me. But I never dropped any charges.

One of the news articles stated he would be arraigned on March 1st but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Clay Travis just destroyed Editor and Chief of Daily News on Twitter just now. Called him out and asked him to be on his radio show.

Referring to last nights appearance on Dr Drews Show "It was like a grown up playing T-ball"

Anyone know if that appearance is available online?

What three guys were dismissed after being on campus a few days?

Mentioned earlier on some thread Oliver and some other guy at about the same time just thought of the guy who tried to get Coleman in trouble longer than a few days but was a first year player who was from Nashville maybe it was bruce

Apologies for the Tuttle misinformation, guys. VQ (and LWSVol) had been speculating for weeks that he wasn't going to be able to play this fall and Hubbs, in his usual cryptic way, did nothing to dispel the rumor for a long time.

However, after searching, I found that he posted this yesterday in response to a question about Tuttle's viability in 2016:

Do we know the actual injury/surgery he had?

Recently had ankle surgery and wondering if it was anywhere close to being a similar injury.

I understand what you are saying. But to be fair, we have had way more than our share. If it were arrest for fighting or whatever, it would be one thing. Is it really true that everyone else is having this many assaults involving women as well as the Crowder thing. At some point, we have to stop just saying that it is part of it and just to accept it. If that is what sports is or has come to in this world, then maybe we do have our priorities and principles out of the correct focus.

From what Hubbs has said, it was about as bad of an ankle injury as you can have. I think there was some ligament damage. If it was just broken, he would probably be good to go for spring camp.

Got it. May be similar then, depends on severity.

Remember having one of those back in the 80's, never had much luck with solving but I sure tried. My goodness, I'm getting old.

Do people REALLY think the UT administration and/or athletic staff is responsible for, enables, or condones this type behavior? That is an absolutely absurd thought. So now Butch is supposed to have the ability to see into the future and know if any of his recruits will commit any criminal acts?

And this isn't just a UT issue, nor a sports issue. People all over the world do bad things every day. Why can't it just be that they did something bad and the responsibility is on them? Why does there always have to be someone else, someone "higher up" if you will, to blame?

With the exception of Von and Marlin, haven't all of the players who have even been accused of some sort of sexual misconduct been dismissed? Short of knowing the future, i'm not sure what more could be expected of the administration and staff. And this isn't the same as saying any of this is ok or accepting it. Bottom line is this country has gotten too far away from the concept of personal accountability.
