I know we complained about it at first, but I actually think the bye week is at the perfect time.

Butch is going to treat the UF/UGA/A&M/Bama stretch as a mini season. Emerging 4-0 or 3-1 all but guarantees an SEC East title. 2-2 still leaves us with a good chance.

After that brutal stretch, the team can reset and focus on much less difficult games against teams that will still be highly motivated to beat Tennessee. Helps avoid any letdowns down the stretch as the team marches to ATL.

I wonder if while we're marching to Atlanta, we can stop by Norcross and pick up that '17 DE that's there. I really like that kid.

Beal? We have some Norcross connections, who I'm sure will try to help persuade him that Knoxville is the place to be.

Have a great time. Tried to talk a Tuesday ticket out of a friend since it's my birthday. Really worked him over. For some reason he thinks his dad should have it. :)

It appears we share the same birthday. I've already told my wife I want practice round tickets for my bday one year. #bucketlist

Is it possible for normal people to get tickets to the rounds of the Masters? I see people saying they are going to practice rounds (which is awesome by the way) but rarely ever see people saying they are going to actual Masters rounds.

Found out yesterday I'm going to the Orange and White game. Pretty pumped. Wasn't able to make to Neyland last year and I'm getting withdrawals.

A little disappointed we wont get to see Sheriron in action. Probably gonna be lots of Dormady and Jancek I guess. But oh well.

I've never been to a spring game under Butch. Is it pretty fun? Probably going to be introducing my nephews (who are 8 & 5) to Tennessee football for the first time. Their Dad is a Memphis fan. So me and my Dad are excited to show them what real football looks like.

Butch hasn't released exactly what will take place this spring game, but with all the injuries I would imagine it's more like a controlled scrimmage than a full game.

I would guess the majority of it will be positional drills/ circle of life, a little bit of situational 11v11, and maybe a half's worth of actually "game-type" activity that actually has 4 downs, and maybe some punt/punt return. I would doubt they do any live kickoff/kick return

I think Dustin Dopirak(?) tweeted yesterday that Maggitt wasn't going to do any running or jumping. I think he benched, but it was a pretty awful number. 22 I think

Edit: yeah he got 22. @TennesseeBeat on Twitter tweeted out results yesterday for a bunch of the players participating so check that out if you're interested. Gilliam participated so it looks like he's making a run at it

This has probably already been discussed somewhere on VN, but I remember seeing somewhere recently that the coaches plan to use kamara in more/some different situations this year. Anyone think we will see him in the slot a lot more this year?

Bob Shoop: The guy who has impressed me the most in the back-end is Cam Sutton. I knew he was good. I didn't know he was this good.
