It wouldn't be the offseason without an article about how the strength and conditioning coach will have the team stronger, faster, and tougher in the fall.

“The players, they’re hungry for success; that’s just it. They want to be great.”

Clock’s ticking.

This gives me feels. :)

I've had feels since 1-1-16, and they get a little stronger each day closer we get to 9-3-2016.

Yeah... It would be refreshing to read an introspective on how the new guy is in way over his head and all of the team is regressing physically. Maybe have a video of Cortez McDowell trying to out pregnant gut Todd Kelly in a belly circle of life?

Yes would much rather be 5-0 and top 3 and slip up @ Texas A&M after the hype overflows but refocus to come back and beat #1 Bama in Knoxville!

Okay people, let's focus here...not losing to the kirby dawgs, and no way are our Volunteers losing to the aggies.

I have addressed both these issues. Not gonna happen. Destroy everyone. Leave no prisoners.
Annihilate a new foe each week. No quarter shall be given. None was offered to us in the dark times. We shall revel in their misery.

We shall not speak of acceptable losses again.

Now let's focus on how the season shall unfold. The first game of the 2016 season will reveal little of the true nature of the Volunteers. It will show a ball control offense and an aggressive defense. Our non-conference victim will be handled in a precise manner with no score allowed even when the bench is cleared at the end of the game.

The Battle of Bristol will be renamed the Bloodbath at Bristol as the world of collegiate football sees a glimpse of the season of dread for the unlucky ones that dare to enter a football stadium opposite the Volunteers...

This is just the beginning :hi:

That's a funny thought. :)

I bet he ends up at DT the way shoop is talking. Not to mention depth. Love his attitude

Does he want to play DE or DT at UT?
Kongbo: "I wanna win."

Kongbo gives me that Terry Crews vibe...

It's in Kongbo's best interest to get as much muscle as his frame will let him. If he gets up to a lean 300, that's an absolute load to handle.

The Kirby dawgs thing reminded me...every once in a while I'll catch the Chuck Oliver Show on 1180 as I leave the gym. I guess he's out of Georgia.

Are all the media in that state slobbering over Kirby that bad? Good grief, you would think they've hired a genetic hybrid of Lombardi, Saban, Sun Tzu and Patton.

The UGA 24/7 guy managed to sound worse.

That whole fanbase is primed for a massive let-down, and its going to be awesome.

Well, they did panic and fire a proven coach to get him. I think that they are desperately hoping he works out, but they truly have no way to know. I remember the Florida media falling all over Muschamp, too, and we saw how that worked out.

Steven A. raving about Josh Richardson this morning

I cannot stand Steven A., but I would probably like him some if he would just drop his schtick and stick to what he knows something about. He is pretty good talking about the NBA. I am glad that Josh is getting some love.

I agree. At least he is on the right side about talking up a guy Vol fans love. Josh is special as a person and BB player.
