We all know you can't help it old man
Randy sanders ain't doing too bad for fsu
He actually did implement the VFL program. It specifically dealt with having a VFL director that taught the players life skills to help them become more well rounded people ready for the real world. I'm also pretty sure it guaranteed that any player who left early could come back and finish their degree at any point.
This was completely separate from his poor relations with former players.
On paper, we should have beat UF the past two years, but we didn't.
Don't care how bad they look, how many injuries, etc,
I'll believe it when I see the clock hit zero and we actually win on the field.
We NEED to blow them out like in 1992 with a score of 45-3.
That would go a long way with this teams confidence and momentum for the rest of the season, especially that brutal 4 game stretch.
Wonder if the coaches will use Bryant on early downs then bring McDowell in on passing downs. Slide JRM over to MLB on third and medium or long. Bryant surely can run though(go watch that kickoff coverages) and he will hit you. Now that's a solution to the problem. Bryant being at Tennessee all this time and can't line a defense up is crazy. I think Jumper is a perfect practice player personally. Kid doesn't take a rep off or miss a responsibility. Just isn't athletic enough to play in the SEC.
This is what I want to see. Bryant looks nasty to me. I love the idea of having him in on early downs especially. McDowell is more athletic and can cover more ground laterally, but using both in ideal situations might be the perfect way to ease them in and play to their strengths. Shoop is capable of putting them in good position. I would love to see Bryant win fhe job outright and become trustworthy. Hold down the fort til DK gets back.
Let's go! So excited for another game.
I want to see Bryant on the blitz. He would punish Rbs. Because while DKjr is the better player Bryant would strike fear into RBs.
I know Gavin can hit, but the guy can't even play over Jumper. He's definitely a better option athletically, and ideally he would be great on early downs, but I don't want a guy out there that couldn't beat out Jumper and Bynum (at least not in a close game).
After we thrash Ohio, I want men, women and children to recoil in horror, when they witness the annihilation the Vols unleash on the Gators. I want to feel the thunder of Neyland through my floor in Thailand.
I want every conceivable thing to go wrong for Florida, and for Tennessee to capitalize swiftly, without hesitation. I want General Neyland to peer down from heaven, look over at Peter, and give him the Jeremiah Johnson bearded head nod.
I want the anguish of 12 years of suffering, to be poured out in the condensed time frame of those 3 1/2 hours, with nothing left to give. I want The whole Florida defense to have nightmares of Dobbs, cutting through their defense like a fat man through chocolate cake.
