He may actually need to play in a game. Similar to McDowell, both are juniors and will hit you. Elliot Berry not being able to beat out Jumper is another one you wonder about. Like how are athletes not grasping things at all.

Elliot Berry is an OLB and doesn't have the size to play MLB.

After we thrash Ohio, I want men, women and children to recoil in horror, when they witness the annihilation the Vols unleash on the Gators. I want to feel the thunder of Neyland through my floor in Thailand.

I want every conceivable thing to go wrong for Florida, and for Tennessee to capitalize swiftly, without hesitation. I want General Neyland to peer down from heaven, look over at Peter, and give him the Jeremiah Johnson bearded head nod.

I want the anguish of 12 years of suffering, to be poured out in the condensed time frame of those 3 1/2 hours, with nothing left to give. I want The whole Florida defense to have nightmares of Dobbs, cutting through their defense like a fat man through chocolate cake.

So JRM can't make sure players are lined up correctly and play Will? That is possible to do. Maybe, just maybe Cortez could help...they could be like a team or something...

:)

The problem is that is a responsibility that he has never had before. It would have an impact on his play.

When it comes to Gavin Bryant, some guys just aren't good at digesting the entire playbook *cough cough* CP *cough cough*.

You should take something for that. I prefer fireball myself.

Jumper says hi. Butch is extremely loyal to upper classmen. Almost to a fault. Look at our starting D-line.

Jumper is a junior and walked on. Bates and Bryant are RS SO and have been in the program longer than Jumper.

Kirkland is younger than any of them.

Jumper isn't playing over them because of seniority. He is playing over them because he has the cerebral part down and they don't it would appear.

Not sure what you are getting at with the D line. We play the best players at defensive line. Also, that is a position that lends itself to playing older stronger players in general. Especially on the interior.

I wonder if the Berry brothers just aren't really that invested in Football. I'm not criticizing really. I mean, I get why. Maybe they are just not hungry enough. Some people love to play, but just not as much as they love everything else.

Alright folks, if you haven't ever listened to this epic rant...do so now. And even if you have, it never gets old! This is a rant from the local Michigan State radio guy from 2006 when MSU choked away a big lead to Notre Dame. Since this weekend is the 10 year anniversary I think every CFB fan should listen, so share with friends!

It's a long listen but worth every second...

Did you see the o e saying we are watching a future hall of famer talking about Sutton.. sheesch, I like him and hes good but pump the brakes

I agree. However, you can tell Sutton is playing on a different level from last year, for whatever reason (injury, etc.). He has looked like a big-time baller this season apart from trying too hard on that muffed punt. Super intense and focused.

Only difference I've seen between this year and last is opportunity.

This is why people are angry after a 45-24 win over VT. We want a team that will crush our most hated enemy, and so far we haven't seen that team. I am with you Nick!

Edit: I am not one who is angry, but I would like to see the real Team 120 step forward!

Intersting take on the poor OL play on scout today. They are suggesting the snap count is exactly the same on all plays and allows DL to get big jumps.

We played North Texas on a noon start time last year and came out really flat.

Wonder if we see more groggy sleepwalking?
