Vereen and Mixon weren't nearly as impressive. There is a noticeable difference between those 2 guys athleticism and with guys like Kongbo, Barnett, Taylor
Were they ever both on the field at the same time? With the depth we have along the DL, there's no reason to ever have an entire "B team" out there all at once.
Why the hell would we want Taylor to add 30lbs and be 270lbs? There's diff types of DEs. He's an athletic freak and a pure speed rushing type. We don't need him to be that big.
False.
The typical "ankle sprain" that occurs in basketball every day is the classic plantarflexion/inversion sprain, resulting in sprains of the anterior talofibular ligament (grade I), anterior talofibular ligament and calcaneofibular ligament (grade II), or anterior talofibular ligament, calcaneofibular ligament and posterior talofibular ligament (grade III). Typically ankle musculature can mask these injuries and add stability to the ankle joint, which is why players come back quickly from these injuries.
A "high ankle sprain" is also called a "syndesmosis sprain", which is typically caused by excessively forced dorsiflexion. These injuries take longer to heal because it tears the syndesmotic ligaments and interosseus membrane that connect the tibia and fibula, leaving the ankle joint a lot less stable than with a plantarflexion/inversion sprain.
OU / OSU is going to be a tough game for me. I hate both of them so much, but I feel like I'm leaning toward OSU as the week goes on. Just hate Mixon getting away with rearranging a girl's face and how Striker acted at Neyland.

Not buying the 'cerebral' argument on Jumper. These players are college students, not middle schoolers. They are not rolling true freshmen out there. Shoop even adjusted to the existing terminology instead of installing his own. There has been no production or indication of more upside from Jumper. I doubt there are any Vol fans that want him to do poorly. Most fans want him to play great. But he has played poorly in the past. So let another guy or two give it a shot. Otherwise it is as Volssam said, 11 on 10, but they will be lined up right. Not a good idea.
I like Taylor as a speed rusher in the 250-255 range. They've got Kongbo and Phillips for the power guys of the future. Phillips weighs more than his roster listed 259 IMO.

Could we beat Florida running a triple-option offense? It's in the playbook and we know they've practiced it a bit going back to last season (and perhaps even more during closed practices). Florida would have done absolutely zero prep work for it, especially if the coaches let Dobbs sling it a bit vs Ohio.
Not saying it's even a possibility, of course, but it would be amazing if we suddenly deployed an entirely new offense for half or more of the offensive snaps vs the Gators.
Would be like a trick play that lasts for the entire game.
