Haven't seen them either...betting Iowa,Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Maybe Georgia or Texas?

Yeah we passed Texas and then Georgia stayed in front of us.

It actually looks about right but I would have probably put A&M above us. I think they've looked more impressive thus far but whatever.

I'll take teams in front of us losing all day. :)

I think we absolutely roll Florida.

We open it up. Play lose and go all out.

The team dedicates the season to cam and the coaches stop playing scared.

This is the turning point.

We still have all the talent we need.

If we can manage hall and Kirkland and get them back at some point during this 4 game stretch we can win 3 out of the 4. Dropping the one to Bama.

I am ready. The team will be ready.

Pharmacists start at well over 100k. And the tests that are required after finishing education are extensive. I'm sure they are easier to pass when the information is fresh on the mind. Why not support the VFL for the decision he made for his future?

I'm a huge Sutton supporter.

Also even at an average 100-120 he's still going to need a few years to catch up. I'm not against him getting a degree but if he has an opportunity to make a certain amount of money I want him to get paid. Lol

FYI: I'm furthering my own education beginning in 2017. But I'm no draft prospect either. Lol

Polls are so stupid lol

Didn't we move down after beating VT? Now we move up 3 spots after that ****show we put on yesterday? I understand that some teams in front of us lost, but cmon.

Wisconsin still ahead of us after squeaking by 0-3 Georgia State. And Georgia . . . well you know.

The Coaches Poll is kinda a joke because there is no way they could keep up with all the games being played. I would guess a good majority of them have someone else vote for them. I'd like to see the AP poll alone until the Playoff Poll comes out.

Dropping no games to anyone......,

Why? Do you think this offense will look significantly different? I don't. We will handcuff the QB with conservative play calling, no matter who it is. That is, until we have to take the cuffs off because we are down by double digits. I wish Butch would just experiment one game, and fully take the cuffs off Dobbs the entire game. Let Dobbs be Dobbs and create plays the entire game...they would see this offense is nearly unstoppable.
He can't make the throws.

It definitely makes more sense for a pharmacy major. In general though it's hard to argue that staying another year is the better financial decision when you can come back and finish for free whenever you want.

Nobody can predict an injury. And even with that injury, it probably doesn't hurt his draft stock. But had he stayed healthy and balled out, he could have made a lot more money out of the gate, all in addition to earning his degree. I think he made a smart decision, and he got hit with unfortunate circumstances. Hopefully, no major set-backs.

When is JRM coming back and what is the word on Sapp?

If he were a projected first-rounder, I would agree. But he wasn't. And he could have been after this year.

Sutton wanted to come back and finish his degree. His decision was not just a football one.

That will pay off in the long run for him.

Not only that but these days the NFL tends to reward those who stay and punish juniors when all things are equal. I don't think Cam's injury is career threatening so he should be fine on that front and the loyalty to his team, the leadership he's taken on, and even the small amount of film he's accrued this season may well wind up paying off.

Cam stayed because he wanted his degree and believes in his teammates. Unless his injury is far more severe than we think, I don't think he'll be punished at all for it. His decision to stay showed a level of maturity and leadership that's uncommon in a lot of draft prospects these days and those attributes pay off.

If you had the opportunity to get that education for free WHILE pursuing your dream job, wouldn't you take it?

Ok, well, maybe not you...

1) Finishing a degree isn't always about money. Depending on one's goals, values, and aspersions it can pay off in other ways.

2) Pro money isn't a guarantee. Although he clearly has talent to play professional football, freak injuries, car wrecks, etc. still happen.

So much this. For me, a degree meant so much more than it did for most. My mom never went to college and my dad never finished college (he died trying to get his college degree as he had re-enrolled after his service in Nam) so for me to get a college degree and then to go beyond just a BA was one of the proudest moments in my life.

While no degree can make you instantly successful, for many, it's a point of pride and achievement.

Question here and I know there's a million snarky answers.. but maybe somebody knows more about the system than I do:

Why do we seem to not try to create or exploit mismatches?

It seems like we just run plays and hope the scheme or play design opens things up instead of trying to create 1 on 1 match ups that make for easy gains.
