Even the announcers for the game said the same thing. That Butch had help competitions in practice at certain positions & Moseley beat out Martin.

I heard this myself straight from the announcers plus the post from somebody on here. Maybe Martin had a banged up ankle that led to Moseley being able to do more in practice to beat him out but I'm going by what 2 sources said & nothing was mentioned about an ankle injury holding Martin back by either source.

Don't bash me. Bash the messengers on this. I'm only posting what I heard & seen posted myself. Thanks!

Martin wasn't even dressed to start the game. The plan was for him to have the game off, but he dressed when Sutton went down.

Personally, I think Moseley sucks badly. Martin is the much better choice. I'm just reporting what I've read & heard. That's all! Thanks!

Why did the announcers mention this same competition thing as somebody that reported the same thing then? This makes no sense to me. A poster said Moseley won over Martin in practice & then you have Andre Ware & Dave Hart saying the same thing about it during the game.

Don't get mad at me guys. I just know what's been reported. There must be a mix-up somewhere but it's not coming from me. Thanks!

I'll agree, hasn't been as loud on third down first two home games.

Say what you will about 3rd down for what. It was a bit cheesy. But It often got the crowd loud.

Neyland has been sad the past two home games. I realize the first one was on a Thurs. and that the last one was against a cupcake but it's lacked energy even accounting for those factors. The opener was eerily quiet even before things went wrong. Fans need to bring it this Saturday. The energy matters so much as does the noise.

3rd down for what quieted the crowd at the beginning of 3rd down bc people waited for the "3rd down for what" part of the song to actually make noise. The reason we were so quiet for the first 2 home games is because we we're getting our butts handed to us by App St, and the 2nd home game was a 12 oclock game against Ohio. We're never loud for games like that. Florida will be a completely different animal. It will be a loud, liquored up crowd at 3:30 prime time.

It's called "stunned silence". The crowd is reflecting the team. Hard to get pumped about a third down that leads to another three and out against a MAC team. If the team shows up against Florida, the crowd will do their part.

Derek Barnett is going to kill in league play. He's absolutely ridiculous coming off the edge. He's also making big plays on third down. I hope we ditch the 3 man fronts. We don't even need to get exotic with the D-line mauling teams.

The announcers said Martin went and got dressed after Sutton went down.

Don't take the information from anyone on here as the gospel truth, it will get you into trouble. There are a few reliable posters who know more than others but even they admit that their info should be taken with a grain of salt.

The ones who claim their info comes straight from the horse's mouth are usually fully of crap. Thanks!
