Y'all are making the right choice, guys. Enjoy it

This is why when my wife told me she had signed up three of our kids to play ball this fall, we talked about it, and she went and got refunds for all three.

Because if it comes down to it, I would of course choose going to my kids' games over going to Knoxville for the Vols. So we removed the choice from even being there. They can play ball in the spring/summer. At least while they're young.

One of my favorite things in my relationship with my dad is him taking me to Vols games. And I want that with my kids.

Smart. My son loves baseball and he played on a local travel team this summer....just tournaments in the mid Tennessee area. I pulled em and got em in a fallball instructional league that meets Tuesday and Thursday.

Downside is they got me helping coach but my Saturdays are free.

this Teez character is gonna look hilarious after he does all this talking and ends up being one of the main players on the florida team that loses to us for the first time in 12 yrs.

Funniest thing I heard over the weekend was the announcers for the Florida game say that the team teases Teez

Wow.... just wow at the product that is on the field and how it is performing right now...

Gonna be tough game. Offense really needs to move the ball and help keep defense fresh. First score needs to be 7 y to build confidence and keep fans riled up, a field goal, three and out or a missed field goalwould be bad for fans who should be crazy when 330 rolls around. If we score and stop them or get a turnover and score again the place will be rocking and we should win. I really think the fans will play a big part in this game.

i saw austin appleby throw 4 picks at Marshall and get benched. Lost his spot at Purdue which is essentially an FCS team at this point. Why am i only hearing ab Cam Suttons injury from the media and not about this absolute awful statue qb playing for them? Hes the one touching the ball on every play, not Cam Sutton. The guy blows and they werent an offensive juggernaut to begin with.

there is no way in hell they've regressed on defense i can garuntee that

im sure you'll scoff at the idea but they are better then last year

collins has made this defense so much more fun to watch then muschamp ever did

just so much more aggressive

hell muschamp's last year we had a fowler as a pass rusher and that was about it completely different story right now

as far as OL i cant wait to see how jawaan taylor holds up against a legit DE kids been great so far for a freshmen

Muschamp set you up on a tee with defensive talent. That stockpile is almost empty now, and you're fixin to get exposed. Meanwhile, Butch is over here stockpiling weapons like Kim Jong-un.

N b4 1st 6 pack of the day. eat breakfast and get started big boi. you coming back next week for your crow?

My daughter is playing soccer this fall, but thankfully it's only 8 weeks. I'm penciling in to take her to the Tech game, which is after the season. I'll say this though, I will be there for her in any sport or activity she or her younger sister ever wants to play. UT football is huge, but my princesses always take precedence.

They should definitely take precedence over the Vols.

But I guess my thing is why not both? There are three other seasons to play sports. And the fall is for Tennessee football. And Tennessee football is and should be a family affair. Ha. We took one daughter to the app state game, two daughters this past Sat (see below), and I'm taking my son this coming Sat, Lord Willing. GBO!

Arguably the best offensive mind in college gfootball. And an elite athlete at the most important position. H class of a combo

The last few florida games at Neyland had the ambiance of a funeral. It's like a cloud of negative energy rolls out onto the field. It effects the players and it effects the coaches.

Saturday will be one of the few opportunities where you as a fan can help this team in a tangible way. And it's simple - act like you expect to win.

There will be adversity, and every person in that stadium will be thinking "here we go again" at some point. Dont. Tell your friends, tell the people around you - stay positive and stay loose.

This. I told one of my buddies he could have my extra ticket IF and only IF he promised to not be negative the entire day and if he left the game without a voice.

Impossible! We know that you have to have number 1 recruiting classes to be good. Why do you think our apocalypse is coming this year? We won't have a top recruiting class!

And in line with his classes at Arkansas. Would be fun to watch our doomsday recruiting analysts spin that. :)

I was curious about Austin Appleby's statement that Neyland wouldn't bother him because he had played in big time stadiums before. So I did a little homework.

Appleby has played in 6 road games in his career, all with Purdue:

2014 @Illinois
2014 @Minnesota
2014 @Nebraska
2014 @Indiana
2015 @Marshall
2015 @Iowa

Of those, I would say that Nebraska and Iowa certainly qualify as big time environments.

Appleby's record in these 6 games is 1-5, with the lone win coming at Illinois in 2014. His stat line for these road games is: 122/215 for 1,223 yrds (56.7 % completion percentage, 203 ypg) with 7 tds and 11 int., and 220 yds rushing with 5 rushing tds.

Going off that sample size, if he has an Appleby average road game, he'll go 20 for 36, for 203 yrds, 1 TD and 2 ints, with 36 yds rushing and a rushing TD.

Think that is good enough to beat us?
