Don't take the information from anyone on here as the gospel truth, it will get you into trouble. There are a few reliable posters who know more than others but even they admit that their info should be taken with a grain of salt.

The ones who claim their info comes straight from the horse's mouth are usually fully of crap. Thanks!

Trust only in Bob

Unless they're watching as Jim McElwain presser.

SIAP but who do we think will be our gameday picker? Obvioiusly Peyton is a good option but I'd love to see Charlie Daniels or Aldra Wilson himself

The last few florida games at Neyland had the ambiance of a funeral. It's like a cloud of negative energy rolls out onto the field. It effects the players and it effects the coaches.

Saturday will be one of the few opportunities where you as a fan can help this team in a tangible way. And it's simple - act like you expect to win.

There will be adversity, and every person in that stadium will be thinking "here we go again" at some point. Dont. Tell your friends, tell the people around you - stay positive and stay loose.

Just a few thoughts

We don't know if Florida has improved on defense or regressed. It doesn't get any worse than North Texas and UMASS. Kentucky is bad even for Kentucky. Remember if it is similar then both Dobbs and Hurd ran for over a hundred last year. We are going to score more than single digits lol. When we run Dobbs who has shut them down?

I believe there is something to Thomas playing on a bad ankle. We will see when he gets healed up. Kendrick and Hall sounds like a solid tandem.

Florida's skill position players don't scare me overall. They have been complaining about their oline a lot. Struggling against UMASS like we struggled against App State and Ohio.

VT is going to be a good team as long as they keep the turnovers low.
We played App State and Ohio like scrimmages and almost paid for it with App State. The Ohio game was never in doubt and the players, not coaches, left a couple of tds on the field.

Y'all are making the right choice, guys. Enjoy it

This is why when my wife told me she had signed up three of our kids to play ball this fall, we talked about it, and she went and got refunds for all three.

Because if it comes down to it, I would of course choose going to my kids' games over going to Knoxville for the Vols. So we removed the choice from even being there. They can play ball in the spring/summer. At least while they're young.

One of my favorite things in my relationship with my dad is him taking me to Vols games. And I want that with my kids.

Upgrade that data package and watch it on your phone.

there is no way in hell they've regressed on defense i can garuntee that

im sure you'll scoff at the idea but they are better then last year

collins has made this defense so much more fun to watch then muschamp ever did

just so much more aggressive

hell muschamp's last year we had a fowler as a pass rusher and that was about it completely different story right now

as far as OL i cant wait to see how jawaan taylor holds up against a legit DE kids been great so far for a freshmen

While many are cautiously positive, it's impossible to get 102k+ people to act like they expect to win when the fan-base has experienced the downs from the past decade. This team (and coaches) need to feed the crowd first, and they'll respond. Give them something to cheer about.

My assessment to this point - which will not mean anything to anybody but me to relieve stress heading into the game that messes up our season every year for the last decade plus.

The only thing needing improvement in the secondary is locating passes. Turn your heads, gents. Let the safeties clean up the mistakes. To BrB's comments on TKJr being sub par on deep coverage, I agree. I believe it is because he is looking toward the LOS and flats to clean up mistakes from the front 6/7 and getting caught out of position. Not an excuse for missing assignments, just a practical reality with #53 on the field. Justin Martin stays glued to his guy. Moseley not so much without some callable pulls and shoves - which he also does in practice, so it is no surprise when it happens. He seems more like a zone d-back to me. Micah has been the MVP on D IMO. Well done by the coaches to spot the talent and develop it. The front four are getting ready to crank it up, which will help everything on D.

P-Willy will get there. It may take a change in receivers coach, which would be a blessing IMO. Love Malone's improvement and talent. Don't love his unwillingness to lay out for passes. Croom is the X-factor and Byrd has the opportunity to be another one. Evan Berry's talent is getting wasted. It's like a sore thumb with me. Obviously he thinks and reacts like an offensive player as a natural instinct. There is a lot of talent on the bench that has not been used yet, so don't despair for the future. With a change in play calling and slight adjustments to scheme on O there should be some improvement. Getting Chance Hall back is huge. Coleman Thomas then has to play the only position he can adequately play at times, or sit. I am in favor of the later until Wiesman proves otherwise because I want Jack Jones on the field on all offensive plays until the starters are pulled in blow outs.

Now go beat UF. Get this over with and move on.

Last yr Fowler was on IR with the JAGUARS

Him or Jennings. Wouldn't be surprised if him and Jennings go at it

line Jennings up with Tabor, send slot in motion to weakside, use the TE as a seal block on the edge with Jakob as the lead blocker in i formation stretch to Hurd.

Tabor get mauled by Jennings and destroyed by Hurd.

My daughter is playing soccer this fall, but thankfully it's only 8 weeks. I'm penciling in to take her to the Tech game, which is after the season. I'll say this though, I will be there for her in any sport or activity she or her younger sister ever wants to play. UT football is huge, but my princesses always take precedence.
