Question.. would look it up but dont have the time.

How good is VT and Bud Foster's defense? I get we got 5 turnovers on them and that skewed it a little. But how much can we expect that performance against a Bud Foster defense to preview a performance against UF?

Great, the Petrino Tents are starting to get pitched again.

I will in no way dispute that the man is a high level coach. He is a very good college coach.

I will, however, point out that every time he has had HC by his name, he has left a smoking crater behind once he's gone. With the slight exception being his one year rehab stint at WKU, but it was a frigging rehab stint.

That is a problem.

And he will never be coach at the University of Tennessee, so don't get your panties in a wad.

Petrino at Auburn would be scary. But he would fit right in there.

I'll say it again. That throw on the post to Malone in the back of the end-zone this past week was big time.

It was beautiful. Dobbs had time to throw and look what happened. but Dobbs sucks and can't pass a lick

Crowd noise in college football plays a factor. Teams burn timeouts due to it. They have trouble hearing the snap count. The home team can ride the momentum. Etc, etc, etc.

Not just college. In Seattle, Seahawks opponents have more false starts than any other stadium in the league.

I am not sure what Petrino's buyout is, but I do know it is very high. He made the statement when Louisville hired him that he would stay there ( yeah right ) due to them giving him another chance. I am sure whatever it is Auburn could afford it. Better Auburn than Kentucky. Not sure Ole Mitch would pull the trigger on that deal, but with the SEC Network money everyone gets now any SEC school could afford it.

Agreed, he wasn't really picked on in man coverage either. Deep pass he gave up was in cover 2 and the 6'3 WR made a play. Moseley was doing what Moseley does..... Smh

Buchanan gets more PT than moseley this week is my guess. He looked really solid for a true freshman in his first game. Was inches away from defending the one completion.

I think so too. Buchanan looked very promising. Plus he has the bloodlines. Hopefully he will be the corner that will be able to replace Sutton.

I think we'd all agree that VT's 49-0 shutout of Boston College last week was significantly more impressive than Florida's 32-0 shutout of North Texas.

And this is why I asked... wasn't aware that happened.

Thanks for the info guys. Makes me feel pretty good about this weekend

Unfortunately, I disagree. This staff has shown they favor seniority and are hesitant to put freshmen in unless forced. Moseley will play a ton this week.

On, Petrino's contract. It is 7 years. The buyout in the last 2 years is around 5 million. It decreases each year on the buyout , so probably not 10 million now.

Would be nice to get an experienced proven commodity who you know can win it all with the talent that is available.
