It was beautiful. Dobbs had time to throw and look what happened. but Dobbs sucks and can't pass a lick

Dobbs can throw darts when his feet are set. But even given time, he needs to learn how to put some touch on passes. Two this past week if he put just a little air under them, Malone could have ran under and made a play.

Well, our defense isn't what I thought it would be this season. At least not yet anyway. The adjustments have been great, but after reading the numbers on SEC country, our defense is ranked very low in every category. Offense is even worse

I read some numbers too.

3 wins 0 losses.

Florida week. Positive vibes only. Wgwtfa.

Louisville recruiting rankings the last four years per Rivals:

'13-- #41
'14-- #36
'15-- #32
'16-- #36

Wow.... just wow at the product that is on the field and how it is performing right now...

This stat just proves stars mean nothing. Football players are football players !!!. Coaches who develop players and let them play mean more than just pure talent.

Can't wait to see the Louisville--- Houston game later this year.

Thanks professor. Good to see that English degree is paying off.

No English degree. I just was alert in 6th and 7th grades.

And for you have went fans:

Gone is the past participle of to go. Used as the verb of a sentence, it must always be preceded by an auxiliary verb such as has, have, had, is, am, are, was, were, be, or one of their contractions. Went is the past tense of to go. It never takes an auxiliary verb.

If English is your first language, you do not have an excuse for poor syntax.

What about the phrase: "He Gone!" often used in regards to a recruit that makes a bad decision?

Legions of the Miserable IMO. They love to wallow in it too!

If there's one thing Tennessee fans love, it's feeling sorry for themselves. There is a certain segment for whom it will NEVER be good enough. The wailing and gnashing of teeth isn't going to end this weekend, whether we beat Florida or not.

This. I wish they would quit being suspenseful and jump already!

I am not sure what Petrino's buyout is, but I do know it is very high. He made the statement when Louisville hired him that he would stay there ( yeah right ) due to them giving him another chance. I am sure whatever it is Auburn could afford it. Better Auburn than Kentucky. Not sure Ole Mitch would pull the trigger on that deal, but with the SEC Network money everyone gets now any SEC school could afford it.

Not even sure Petrino would consider UK. He is currently at a better job in the same state. Easier conference and nothing to gain by going to UK.

When he's was at wku, it has been said he wanted UK job but they didn't want him BC of his past

Jeez man, I didn't think that would touch a nerve with anybody.

So no one was talking up Petrino today? I just conjured that?

Sure they did, and rightfully so. But the perceived exasperation in your post over everyone "pitching tents" for him came across to me as pretty defensive. No one is saying he's not scum, or hasn't left his teams in massive holes when he cuts and runs, or even necessarily they want him at UT.

Maybe you are right, I'm reading too much into the toxicity in here- not from the negativity, but from everybody being so defensive about really what are constructive comments...the replies are "sack up" and crap like that. No real room in the middle for real discussions. My bad.

Attack Tabor deep with Malone. He's tough but I think Wilson is better in deep coverage than Tabor.

Wolf and Croom are advantages if matched up on their LBs.

I can see us targeting Malone a couple times down the field on Saturday given his production to date, but I cannot see this staff attacking Tabor or Wilson frequently. I think we see a very run heavy offense on Saturday. Based on the offense's production as a whole so far, this is a game where we can't afford turnovers. I wouldn't mind seeing Kamara out in the flat more or see us using Wolf more in short yardage situations. With Dobbs' mobility, I would also like to see Debord use more misdirection stuff. We need to get their defense off balance, and our offense so far this year has been able to do anything but that.
