I'm not saying they want to, but it happens every time. Remember during the BCS error there were only 13 out of 32 teams that made it to the championship with 1+ losses. Alabama is looking to become the just the second team to reach the CFP Championship undefeated. That's 4 out of 6 championship teams will have 1+ losses. I can promise you it will devalue the regular season because the 4-team playoff has already done that.

It just allows a hot team like Penn State to have a chance. It was never fun when you lost 1 game and realized you were out of championship contention. I guess you can say it devalues the regular season, but it does not make games late in the regular season meaningless. There would have been a host of more meaningful games this year if there were 8 teams in a playoff.

Probably con man jones trying to milk every cent out of that 100k bonus for making a bowl Dooley also made. Just like last time when he gauged interest to get a raise and extension.

VA tech is the same distance from kingsport as UT go root for them... But she really has done a bad job with the team

My issue is here isn't that I'm happy, it's just that I refuse to wallow in it. The extremely vocal minority that seem to glory in it are starting to piss me off worse than than losing to Vandy.

In the end what does the constant complaining accomplish? Nothing. It just poisons the well. I really wish the vocally unhappy would take their ish to the FF.

Is it not ok to love the Vols and want better for them? Running from problems doesn't fix anything. We're better off with Butch than we were Dooley but I think everyone has the right to be upset with this football season and definitely the Lady Vols program. Injuries aside we are more talented than Vandy and Soutch Carolina but some just want to make excuses. 10-2 most would and should be happy. I think I'll stick to cheering for the Vols.

Agree. But it also gets to the point where they expect our coach to do things that they wouldn't even do. Gosh forbid his agent asks for a raise. That's their job. No agent is worth his salt if he doesn't work for his client.
