People keep telling me that they gifted us the game. Bull. Both fumbles were forced. Those aren't gifts, those are defensive plays. Kelly was an animal that could not be stopped. That isn't a gift. Callaway balled last night, they couldn't cover him. Dormady made some clutch throws as well. And when it was on the line, our defense, especially Taylor, made the stop when we hadn't stopped them all night. That isn't a gift. That is a hard fought, come from behind, earned victory. We got the W. We earned it.
Yet with all those good things you mention it wasn't good enough to win the game without their kicker failing to make an easy kick. He gifted us the game by not being able to get the ball above the line. Sorry you guys can't handle the fact we got our ass kicked all night and were lucky to win but that's the facts. Look at the stat sheet.

Eh that's football. Kicking is a part of the game. GT kicked our butts while we were on defense, but their defense was only so-so and their special teams sucked out loud all night.
Turns out our offense was good enough with the game on the line make sure that special teams would be the difference. And GT couldn't capitalize.
You wanna play the "look at the stat sheet" game, then take your own advice and look at the difference in special teams. We were far superior to GT in that 1/3 of the game.

I'd like to see that too. Butch and the coaches know JG has the talent, let's see what he can do with live reps. Let QD start and get some reps and then let JG get the bulk of the game.
People saying Stars don't matter need to look at our best players yesterday. Outside of Kelly and Bituli the others were highly rated and played the part. Callaway, Trey Smith, Warrior and Darrell Taylor were all 4 star or better. All this sleeper talk is over with. Recruit the difference makers and be done with it. LB, DT and DB should be the main position we are loading up at. Help is needed and in a hurry.
If his ass was a football I bet you would kick it. No one care if you were right. God forbid he didn't play in the first game after switching positions. Maybe his offensive coordinator, you know the one who coached with the patriots thought he would make a good receiver.[Twitter]https://twitter.com/LSUfootball/status/905208795659460609[/Twitter]
17 true freshmen played for LSU this past week and not one of them was Jacoby Stevens. They also moved him from safety to wide receiver because he got beat out by two other y. I called it pretty early that we weren't missing anything when this kid committed to LSU. Theo Jackson was the better in-state prospect.
This was a huge miss by the recruiting services as I said one year ago.
