I can get a little negative during games (it's how I cope, honestly), but I'll never understand not enjoying a win. It's always better to win than lose in literally every situation. I've agonized over so many close losses for the Vols, thinking if just this thing or that thing had happened, we'd have won that game. But we didn't win and thinking about it just made me upset. I hate that feeling and I'm not going to let it infect me after we've won.
Yeah, everything could go to crap. But everything could always go to crap for any team. Everything could also go really well, too, which is probably just as likely as the floor falling out. I want to see how it plays out. App State took us to overtime and then we whooped up on Virginia Tech the next week. Florida had an 18-point lead at halftime until we ran off 38 straight on those fools. It's WAYYYYY too early to be freaking out this much over a win.
Having said ALL OF THAT... if we lose to Florida in a little under two weeks, it's gonna be FAHRIN' time. I forgave Butch for 2014 and 2015 -- I'm a big enough person to take the high road there. But if we lose this year, we have to FAHR someone for sure just to appease the football gods. A modern sacrifice, if you will.
