Dang just heard official for state of Florida say this storm is stronger than Hurricane Andrew. Florida may have to change their plans to play the game

Yeah, everyone is losing their minds down here. The was a rumor that they were considering creating a cat6 for this. 500 miles wide. Wind staying at 185mph with gusts up to 220. Luckily it doesn't look like it'll make its way into the Gulf of Mexico. Everytime a storm hits the gulf, it intensifies. Bay County (PCB) sold out of water yesterday.

And your the guy who thinks he can just throw out insults like this and others to people on here you don't agree with... whatever dude... you keep being you.. :good!:

I agree with his opinion. When someone expresses an opinion that doesn't make sense, another has the right to respond. You were the one who said GTFO (which I can't stand). It's an immature response IMO.

They should cancel the Florida game. My goodness, get some perspective people! If the storm is as bad as forecasted and keeps the same track, there's no reason to play that game. You know the Northern Colorado team will get stranded in Gainesville even if the end up playing it. If the NFL is willing to cancel the Dolphins-Bucs game, then shouldn't the Florida schools figure out alternatives as well?

This still likely a 7-5 to 9-3 team. Always has been. There is plenty to be pessimistic about because we're not even remotely elite. We do have some playmakers though and every team not named Bama has question marks themselves.

Yep, I have decided to go to 8-4 with Jennings out.

So UF refuses to play against LSU when they could, but is trying their best to play against some nobody, some people in Gainesville need to get their stuff together

They want their clean up game before playing us. They intentionally dodged LSU when LSU was hot and it worked out for them. I hate it but it did.

I didn't read the responses.

Honestly, I don't think the FF people really know he's a legit source. There's just too many of them over there. He posts something and an hour later it's buried 8 pages deep.

I remember when I was on VQ that Larry was as trusted as Hubbs and I would listen to him over the other mods even.

I'll roll with Larry. Plenty of support for his opinions.

I know they dodged LSU that was my point, everybody in the sec and the rest of the country new what Florida was doing and Greg Stanley with his weak little backbone just stood by and let them do it

Didn't realize lines came out this soon but buddy of mine says Florida is a 5pt favorite.

He may be reading the early line that was put out in May.

The Florida-Tennessee bout on Sept. 16 is 109 days away, but Vegas is beginning to handicap the matchup.

Tennessee fans may not like these odds, however.

South Point Casino in Las Vegas has listed the Florida Gators as five-point favorites for the matchup in Gainesville over the Volunteers. It was part of several games they released yesterday, two of them featuring last year's Music City Bowl winners. The other Vols game the casino released was their matchup at Kentucky, where the spread is even.

step away... he didn't agree with my opinion by saying "another toxic Vol fan' and earlier said I was "spewing verbal diarrhea"... And who's the immature one?
You are exactly right, everyone has the right to disagree and instead of disagreeing, he throws out insults instead of simply disagreeing... you need to get your facts straight before you step into something...

If the storm directly hits Florida like it's looking I can't see how we could still play down there in a week and a half.

UF didn't want to play LSU because they were afraid they would lose and it could cost them the SECE. They want to play Northern Colorado because they're counting that as a win and they figure they might need it to win the SECE in a tiebreaker scenario. They don't care if it's televised, but they care if it's played.

No mention of suspensions today?

If that doesn't happen you can chalk that up for wrong info coming from Larry.

For UF I want to see:

The secondary/LB's to show different coverage looks to confuse their QB's.

Taylor unleashed, just freelancing. They will need Shy back to push the pocket with K-Mac to help that to happen.

Bituli, McDowell, and Smith in the game together getting after it.

Another WR in addition to Callaway to come up big, whether that is J-Smith or a young guy like Palmer or Johnson.

Our O-line to maul their D-line.

QD to come into the swamp like he owns the place. Then JG come in and mop up in the 4th quarter to gain experience.

Medley to be the kicker he was supposed to be.

The game day decisions to be easy and uneventful for Butch.

Will be interesting to see if FL does play this game, how many players are suspended and if that carries over into our game since most were listed as "indefinite"...

I'm sure almost any staff looks crappy when you compare it to 90s-era Fulmer, Chavis, and Cutcliffe.

Really?? All that was aaid on gridscape back thwn was how crappy the assistants were. Certain coaches spent more time at strip clubs than recruiting...certain coaches didnt receuit at all...the same crap has been said for 25 years now..
