No PJ Fleck, no Scott Satterfield, no scrappy up-and-comer.

Give me a proven P5 coach or an absolutely top-notch coordinator (Venables).

Agreed. I wouldn’t mind Fleck or Scatterfield but I’d make a few others turn us down before I go that route.

I see old Phil on your post and it seems like I can hear him saying the words you are writing. Been neat to pretend it is him speaking what you are writing.

Thanks Jacket man. The only thing I can promise is that this account will work like heck to write the best posts that I am physically and mentally capable of.

In his press conference Butch just said they had a run play called on first down and dormady checked to the pass and the plan on second down was to sneak it but he didnt want JG going in and taking the snap from under center

This season feels horrible already. Blech. Second straight year that we're going to be devastated by injuries and our head coach is on one of the hottest seats in the nation. Someone save us, please.

But JG was about to take the snap from under center right? I'm not about to go back and watch that train wreck.

Wow, I am sorry but that is all kinds of stupid by Dormady, if that's true.

So what is a "significant" game to you guys?

I mean obviously we're not going to settle for a coach that comes in and beats Tennessee Tech, Indiana State, Appalachian State, some mediocre power 5 team, and then go 4-4 against the SEC, winning the worst games.

So what games are most significant to you guys?

To me:
Historically good OOC opponents, in nationally televised games like Oklahoma/Oregon.

Rivalry games, obviously. Florida, Georgia, Alabama. Does Vandy count?

Games where there's something significant at stake, like USC last year.

Anything I'm missing?

We obviously miss Dobbs in the red zone. Goal line issues were not so hot with JD at the helm.

With our running backs and the development of the O-line obviously there is a foundation for a good offense but right now without a downfield passing game, TD pass to Wolf notwithstanding, the O is one dimensional and it showed. An explosive offense would allow this team to turn the corner. Will it happen? Seems to be where we have stalled out.

Starting MLB, starting WLB, starting SLB, starting WR, starting RT, co-starting SS, and depth players at tackle and receiver out indefinitely or for the entire year. I gave them the benefit of the doubt to start but this mess is unacceptable.

Imo we need more misdirection in the backfield, eleven if it doesnt work ibwould like to see Chandler or byrd get the ball on one, the pass to wolf came off a pa with jet sweep action, we need to stretch the filed more laterally right now our offense is playing in a box, we have to mkae the defense cover sideline to sideline then start looking for the homerun
