I usually think narratives like these need to be considered, but I'm skeptical that Tennessee is going to be a letdown game for Georgia after playing Mississippi State. Also curious if we get all of our frustration worked out against Miss State.

Yea I don't think there is any chance Georgia is anything but mentally ready to play us but there is just something that is hard to measure about big wins at home followed by road trips the next weekend. Reason why I was scared to death last year at Georgia and we really didn't play well that day.

Yea, I checked it before I said that. Not a bad bio, but his years with Muschamp weren't very good. Coaching under Harbaugh is great experience, but it is with Saban as well. His 6 wins last year weren't all that impressive. Norvell is young and has figured out how to market a program. At this point, I just think you have to gamble on a boom or bust if you can't hire someone who has done it before. To appease the masses, you can't hire a steady, good coach. You have to hire someone that can recruit at a high level and has the potential to win big.,

He has more SEC experience than most names mentioned. Urban Meyer and Harbaugh are good company no matter how you slice it. 6 wins aren't bad considering they only won 3 the year before he got there. He's already beat a significantly more talented team in Texas this year, if the rest of the year goes well, that could prove to be a pretty solid 2 year turnaround. to know what Norvell has done to market his program that Durkin hasn't. Maryland has the #17 recruiting class right now (which is actually quite good for The Terps), just behind Michigan and Clemson, so he seems to know how to sell his program well enough.

He's not at the top of my list, but he would be a very solid hire.

Would help if those 2 sets of dawgs play four overtimes and Eason comes back only to find out Fromm had also shared his girlfriend in the past week. Team chemistry dissolves while Chubb and Michel announce that they have grown incredibly close during rehab year and they will marry during the off season. Several olinemen now will refuse to block for them or eat cake at their reception citing religious objections. Meanwhile, the schools latest horribly inbred and overbred mascot uggg-uhh....is found to have several forms of venereal disease....alabamas elephant has been told to get tested. Nick Saban goes off in a tirade. PETA now involved. More to follow....

Then they would likely go 12-0.

Yup. Honestly which scenario is more likely?

I think them winning the next two over losing the next two.

The media will bump them up. The SEC media will be puffing out their chests saying that is our pick for the East. Look at them dominate.

And Smart will look like a great hire.

IMO UGA is definitely more likely to win both than lose both, they are favored in each game and have the best defense other than Bama in the SEC. They also have a weak schedule again and they will get an even weaker one next year...

Inb4 I'm a dawgs fan...

I'm not suggesting we fire Jones tomorrow, but I think there's enough evidence that he's not going to get it done to at least speculate on possible replacements on a message board devoted to speculation. He can shut us all up here in a couple of weeks if he likes.

This sums up my thoughts pretty well.

Did Auburn leave the SEC?

They've been bad lately and don't look much improved this year....

Their defense is elite. They held Clemson to under 300 yards and 14 points. They allow less yards than Uga and allow 4 less points than Uga and have more sacks.... just cause they offense is bad doesn't mean their defense is lol

I think their defense is elite. For that reason I think they might end up having a great year. I will be betting a lot on them this weekend

Wait a minute just checked the line on Auburn at Mizzu. It's 18.5.

Anyone know if that opened at 10? I swore that was the line

I think that the most likely scenario of the 3 is that they split and the least likely is they lose both. But none of the 3 possibilities is beyond the realm of reason.
