I have about 5 families coming in from Florida tomorrow. It'll be a busy week but I think football will he's great distraction. any ideas for mass feeding via grill that's different from dogs and burgers?

Chicken wings, legs and thighs are all good on the grill, IMO. Pork chops are great also. There are many good recipes for seasoning them on the interwebs. You can buy a boneless pork tenderloin for a reasonable price and slice it how you want.

Sending out prayers to the folks on Antigua, Barbuda, Saint Martin, & Saint Bart's. They took a direct hit from Irma & structures are 95%+ damaged or demolished on those islands.

I was just on St. Martin in June. So sad for all those folks.

John Kelly is going to be the heart and soul of this while team. He is a great RB and a great leader. After our first TD he went over to the D and Bituli in particular and said something. I could tell what but he was fired up and I think the whole team will feed off of his passion. As far as I can see, he is the undisputed leader on the field and he wants to win. Count on him getting us through some rough patches with his passion.

check out the grill and bbq thread in the pub forum. There will be some good ideas in there and they would be happy to help. One idea I have is pizza. You can pre-made dough if you don't want to make your own and then everyone dress it up themselves. pizza cooks pretty quick on the grill if you have the heat up high.

Both the trash can and the outcry are dumb.

Why is everybody concerned about what we do on the sideline to motivate our players? If they want to slam avocados in a blender and make guacamole after each TO I couldn't care less. As long as it motivates the players and encourages them to play hard it matters not. If the rest of the sports world wants to focus on that then good. They won't see it when Bituli and Taylor are in their backfield putting their QB on the ground while Warrior is taking the pick six to the checkerboards!

You've got to watch the motivational ploys. Don't want to get into "orange dog" territory. Opportunity is nowhere.

What kind of weirdo makes guacamole in a blender? I have a serious problem with that.

I just think it is silly to focus on our trash can when Miami has a freakin Mr. T starter kit and Bama has a dang championship wrestling belt. I'm sure countless other schools have their own thing but folks love to hate on Butch for erry little thing.

I'll tell you another thing, I bet Jim MacElwain wishes he had some 5* hearts on his team instead of Ali Babba and the 40 thieves.

The trashcan thing is overblown. The problem was the guy held it up the entire game. So it was on tv constantly. If he just held it up AFTER a turnover it would be fine. But of course the media and opposing fans see Butch as a target and cling onto every little thing. And that stuff won't stop until he wins the SEC.
