The action on the field determines the outcome. If a ref accidentally drops his whistle the play doesn't keep going until he can pick it up. He killed the play with his arms before blowing the whistle. He was running in before he blew the whistle. He determined (incorrectly) that the play was over and that's all that matters.
Plus the multiple phantom PI calls that left PU on the field to score where otherwise they would have had to punt.Two things can be true at the same time. We both didn't play well and got screwed incorrectly and unfairly resulting in the end of the game. Our poor play most of the night doesn't make that call okay to end the game.

To blame it all on officiating is. But it definitely isn't to recognize it played a major part in the loss
He somehow marks him down a yard and half behind where the ball actually wasthe ref blows the whistle and waves his arms at the same time. whatever
