My stance on refs is pretty simply. They are all mediocre. It’s not their primary profession so it’s impossible to expect them to be experts.

I don't care if you're a ref or a plumber, EVERYONE knows what a touchdown is.

That call last night was so bad a Bama fan at the grocery store told me we got screwed. I was proudly wearing my UT gear. I hate being pitied by a Bama fan.

The rigged calls started in the first quarter and never stopped. Watch the film. The touchdown at the end was simply one spectacular example.

Let's not forget how we got called 6 TIMES for pass interference, most of which were bad calls, and they did not get called for holding 1 time all night. Also completely missed the PI that held our receiver from catching the ball for a TD near the end of the game. How they miss that but call our DB SIX times for PI is beyond me.

Their Oline never got called for holding. Not Once.

Still pissed. Been walking around all day in a bad mood. I’m so over this same ‘ish over and over again. Seeing Bama do their thing without any kind of controversy doesn’t help either.

I’m slowly coming to the realization I don’t get much enjoyment out of this. The good moments are just too far between each other. I’m at the point where I just expect the worst.

Our long time season ticket holders and/or boosters have to form an allegiance and tell Danny White they will not donate or buy tickets until he publicly takes a stand and starts a movement to reform the officiating. Or, at the very least, fans should politely and professionally flood his email with displeasure.

It shouldn’t have to come to that, and our own fans shouldn’t have to threaten it, but something will only be done when money is at stake.

Hooker could have thrown for 8 or 9 TDs if he has a good game. No joke either...and no arguments from me. And honestly that was the case in a few other games this season. He had a great year, but taking the next step next year at being more consistent could result in a legit shot to win the Heisman and Joe Burrow type numbers.

I have thought that all year...IF/WHEN we ever get one of those kind of QBs...the guys that see and don't ever miss open receivers..the numbers will be absolutely insane...like Burrows last season.

It would be well worth the money to make a public stand on this trash! Guarantee the boosters would cover it. Everybody else that screams and yells at the refs or calls them out ends up getting the benefit of the doubt the next go round, so why would it be any different for us? I’m sure it would make things worse because we are Tennessee, but it is still worth doing something different than sitting on our hands and saying yes sir, thanks for sucking at officiating the game, but we will continue to plod along and get screwed over multiple games every year.

Everybody else that screams and yells at the refs or calls them out ends up getting the benefit of the doubt the next go round, so why would it be any different for us? I’m sure it would make things worse because we are Tennessee, but it is still worth doing something different than sitting on our hands and saying yes sir, thanks for sucking at officiating the game, but we will continue to plod along and get screwed over multiple games every year.

How is it that two crucial games were called by crews that have been reprimanded in past, and, yet again cost us games? Vegas is not paying these officials….. if anything like that is going on….it would be more likely to be a ref with a hidden gambling problem fixing games he has bet on…Refs make 6 figures plus probably travel pay and food stipend…..They are professionals in other fields as well.
