I have seen a kid get a fungal infection in his lungs from smoking weed.

Dead in 4 days

Didn't OD though...

I don't know the answer to this so I'm asking. Does anyone know if MJ was legal, would it have been tested for the fungus thus preventing the fungal infection?

No way, complete fluke and if this is from the story on the pub, its very unlikely that weed was the cause.

I can beat him I just know it.

Why is it such a strange question? Almost all people 18-34 drink to get drunk. When you get older you slow down and yes you have a beer or a glass of wine because you like the taste, of course a LOT of people when they get older just drink more to get hammered or are functioning alcoholics.

Now I smoke a little to watch a movie or clean the house or a hike or whatever. Guess what? I enjoy the taste too. Difference is I won't feel like hammered dog crap in the morning, in fact the effects will wear off in a few hours.

You are being particularly argumentative today.

Let me start by saying you are one of my favorite posters on this board. I appreciate the information you bring regarding middle Tennessee prospects. That being said, this is a pretty weak addition to this debate. I knew a girl who suffered for a week and died from an infection when a monkey threw its dung in her face/eye. Had the fastest and best medical care in the world and died all the same. Yet, I still go to the zoo with my family. Freak accidents occur, but there is nothing inherently dangerous about MJ. During prohibition, bootleggers were cutting booze with chemicals and people died, went blind, etc. They didn't overdose on alcohol. They were poisoned by reckless and greedy criminals. Once booze was legalized again, this largely disappeared (aside from people choosing to continue to purchase untaxed bathtub gin from shady moonshiners). I bet we will see similar benefits when MJ is legalized. In any case, in those places where MJ is legal, smoking is just one of several options.

Weed 💯 the cause and I was in the room when he died so not a story from pub

There was a story in the pub about a kid who died from pneumonia and they thought it came from fungus on weed he had smoked once before. Anyhoo its pretty dang rare and i was taught early on to not smoke it if you see fungus, its easy to spot it comes feom improper storage/drying.

Because we all know addicts carefully inspect their fix before using it

The best shine is still bootleg.

So you are saying Newt is a sophisticated stoner?

Most indubitably.

Tbh my views were formed because i grew up in Alaska where it was legal to possess. I could smoke before i could drink. There was a lot of education there about responsible use.

No one dies from nicotine OD. The reason people dies from cigarettes is the same reason why people die from weed. CANCER. Don't fool yourself into thinking MJ doesn't cause cancer. Tobacco was popular for the same reason weed is getting legalized. People thought it had healing benefits. With more legitimate research the same thing will be found for MJ.

Do you even edibles bro?
