I read somewhere, long ago, maybe when I was a kid, that he couldn't do basic/simple math. Whether it's true or not, I can't confirm. My point was to show that just because JJ knows the in's and out's of football, doesn't mean he understands anything else. Maybe I failed? Not to derail the debate, but not sure if that is supposed to be a tongue in cheek statement.
I would explain how it doesn't open a spot but I would rather masturbate with a cheese grater than get into a numbers/rules discussion.Color JJ gone. He's going to have to go JUCO if the goes at all. Do I know that for sure? Nope. But the weight of evidence against is crushing any hope he'll still make it in. BUT! His attrition does open a spot for a (very) late qualifier for the class of 18'…...any suggestions?

What I read, and again, not sure if true, said that simple math was just too...simple for him to comprehend. It said the way his mind worked, it just couldn't come down and focus on a basic level. One of the reasons I've always believed it was true is because I've read of genius'/supreme intellect not even being able to tie their shoes. Their mind's stay on a level far above, and can't dip below for...normal, simple, easy. Again, this may not be true about Einstein, but I did read it somewhere, and the explanation as to why he couldn't.Einstein could definitely do simply math. he might have struggled in other subjects, but not math. I see your point though. I know mechanics that struggle to read and write but know how to rebuild a small block chevy by heart
I've heard similar for example, not being able to dip a chip in hand grated melted cheese. What I read, and again, not sure if true, said that simple math was just too...simple for him to comprehend. You think it's for parents? Think again. It's really so parents have a harder time suing the teacher. There are apps now where teachers can post pictures or videos of your kids throughout the day for you to see what is going on in the classroom. A bit much but it is interesting sometimes. My youngest's teach just posted a video of the kids in groups, making things out of aluminum foil. Most of the things were just weird shapes. Then the last group.... they had created a large aluminum falice right in the middle of their table. I doubt they intended it to be a falice but I about busted out laughing.

Or he can change his withholdings to not have the government steal as much of his money.

100% if you are depending on your tax returns, you should change your withholdings and get as close to $0 as possible. Unless your income is variable and you're bad at saving money.
Also, taxation is not theft.
