Recruiting forum off topic thread (no politics, covid, or hot button issues)

I think and I maybe wrong that Heupel most of the time goes with the offense that gives us the best chance to be productive but in that specific instance we were trying to melt the clock and we didn’t really have the personnel or experience in doing it. Jmo.
He never tries to melt the clock. Even up 35 points. He's still snapping it with 11 seconds on the play clock. Now, maybe he's running and not throwing when up that much.

From a philosophical standpoint, it's not championship quality imo. That game should have been 45-7

He has to get better HIMSELF, if Tennessee is ever to get back to glory.
Maybe he has this off-season? Thank God, we'll find out soon.

I'm not going to be one of these sheep that can't criticize the HC because of his position.
Just painting our offense as an "ace in the whole" that will automatically score at will, because we skull dragged a weak South Carolina, Vandy, South Alabama, Mizzou.

Heupel is the best X and Os guy we've had since Lane. I would say he's a more likable person too.
So I DO like and DO approve of him. I'm just stating the truth, because for Tennessee's sake I want him to be better...
If others are too weak to do that I really don't care.

He does it frequently in the football forum. I just don't swim in those waters very often.
I do it "frequently" there, yet you're not in the football forum often to confirm it?
Which is it big dawg?

I haven't been attacking anyone except other fans. Because of their asinine posts!

Oh, and you need to get over the fact that you didn't truly know what an "edge" player was.
I never even directly called you out on that, either!
Regardless, you haven't like any posts I've made since that. Even the purely positive ones.
You just like @allvolrecruiting , holding grudges still after I manned up and apologized to him.
But he just a lil young dude so I don't really care. What about you tho??

All I did was told the other poster that I tried to explain to you - in a roundabout way- what players are classified as edge. Then you brought up your playing experience at Sewannee out of nowhere, to basically say that I could never tell you jack xxxx about football.

I'm not attacking Heupel. It's called being critical! Don't twist my words...

Little, you're just randomly stringing together accusations and rehearsing resentments and imagined slights now. You should be a little more self critical. Don't attack yourself. Just criticize yourself more in order to improve.

It was a 3rd and 1. And coach wanted to line up quickly and convert before the defense could line up.
Evans got hit for no gain and they punted.

They were struggling for that entire half to move the football again, and coach wanted to steal a 1st down if he could. They punted 4 times in row...four!

But since you don't believe anything I say ever, just watch the game for yourself...
What are you talking about dude? I don't believe anything you say? Most of what is debated on here is based on opinion not truths and lies. Yes, that second half was brutal attempting to run clock when they probably should have kept attacking. But.... honestly, we haven't disagreed on everything on here. I don't lose any sleep if we do disagree and you shouldn't either. Kick off needs to hurry up. There's been too much back and forth on this forum over the past 6 weeks.

Once again.... What the hell are you talking about? I don't frequently post in the Footbal Forum. I read the threads daily. You apparently have reached the point of being butt hurt from people not agreeing with you. Mentioning Sewanee had nothing to do with you AT ALL? Another poster asked me where I played college ball. Then you pulled me not knowing what an edge is out of your anus. For real dude. None of this is that crucial my man. Take a deep breath. Count to ten, and enjoy the game tonight. Go Vols🍊.

If a RB can’t take three straight carries then he needs to play a different position or sport lol
Evans was real good but he was soft and apparently didn’t like to read his books and study his words

Boone?

Love their downtown. And the pictures of their baseball stadium are amazing.

Blowing Rock too. That's one of the neatest, cleanest downtown areas I've ever been to. It also feels like you're on top of the world driving around.
because its run by gagillionaires.

Raleigh Durham is loaded with transplants from
all 4 of those “states” as well as transplanted Californians. You do have some southerners that have moved as well as people from other parts of the state but I’d say the vast vast majority of population increase are from New York/NJ, New England and California.

It was that way even 10 years ago when I lived there. It's a very diverse city and has lots of great suburbs. I lived and worked in Cary/Mooresville which is a mini Silicon Valley....lots of tech companies there. I also lived in Apex and then Fuquay-Varina.

Lots of people from the DMV area there (D.C., MD, VA), lots of New Yorkers, Californians and Ohio transplants. I'm sure there are even more now. Also very international....I met a lot of people from India, China, Korea and the Middle East. Also a large Mormon population.

As much as I love TN, most of NC is better maintained and prettier due to the state income tax. The jobs mostly pay better than East TN jobs and sales tax was lower so quality of life is very good. You also have beaches, mountains, farmland and hilly country. Raleigh is perfectly centered 1.5 to 3 hours from everything. I enjoyed having all 4 seasons like TN but the winters are sunnier and have more 60+ degree days. You don't get that 4-5 months of depressing cloudy drizzle like TN winters. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of passion for college football. Didn't really feel like a Southern city without it.
