It does, actually.
Side note: do you have to stick your own hand in the horses butt or do you have a machine for that
Unfortunately, our profession is in danger. No one wants to do this anymore due to the long hours, emergency on-call, and hard work involved in it. These younger generations are soft as Charmin!! Great for job security, but until recently, it was very overwhelming because we were so swamped. We have gone from three veterinarians to six veterinarians in one year. We are definitely blessed and thankful! I am only on call for one game this entire season, that happens to be the Georgia game. Kind of ironic since I live in Georgia… Lol! However, I’m usually on for four games, so this is going to be a fun season to get to relax and watch the Vols play without having to worry about getting called out.Had all intentions of going to school for that! Organic for the best of of me tho. That is awesome! We do not have any equine vets near me anymore sadly.
I'm lucky to have a large animal vet close by. My vet does house calls anytime I need him for our livestock or horses. Much respect to you and your profession.Unfortunately, our profession is in danger. No one wants to do this anymore due to the long hours, emergency on-call, and hard work involved in it. Doesn't help that there are very few schools who do large animal veterinary and you have to have a 5.0 with a squeaky clean record and million hours of volunteer work also to get into the schoolsUnfortunately, our profession is in danger. FACT! I live in WV, and we have ZERO large animal vets that will do farm calls now. Closest equine vet is 70 miles and in clinic only.Unfortunately, our profession is in danger. I really don't like stuff that feels designed to divide us.
Are you talking about the song that starts with these lyrics:
“Lift every voice and sing
Till earth and heaven ring
Ring with the harmonies of Liberty
Let our rejoicing rise…”
If that feels designed to be divisive, the problem probably isn’t the song.
Yeah I hear about this more and more with vets becoming less willing to travel and having to haul to the clinic. We have a clinic, and it has been a game changer and helped so much, but we still do ambulatory work.FACT! I live in WV, and we have ZERO large animal vets that will do farm calls now. Had a young gelding peel half his face off 2 years ago, couldn’t get a soul to come out. Couldn’t get a halter to take him anywhere. Did the best I could doctoring it, and he made a miraculous recovery thankfully and earned the nickname “Scarface”, lol. Has a small scar on the bridge of his nose, but is mostly covered by his blaze.
Agree with you, dying breed!
Sorry to get off topic. WGWTFA!!
The fact that it is called the black national anthem is what I am referring to. If it is a song that is uplifting to all then why not call it something that doesn't seem to reserve it for one group of people? If it is supposed to promote unity and harmony, then why not name it something that unites instead of segregates?
hard to argue with this logic. The fact that it is called the black national anthem is what I am referring to. Are you talking about the song called “loft every voice and sing”?
Are you referring to the song called “Lift every voice and sing”?
I’m not trying to argue, but just want to point out that being easily offended by a colloquialism is odd. Especially when it is in reference to something meant to, as the title says, uplift.
