Recruiting forum off topic thread (no politics, covid, or hot button issues)

I still don’t even know what she tweeted.

But she was fired from her job, not cast away to an island where she can no longer participate in society.
Dropped the n bomb as well as stated she needed a slave. Not on the same tweet but separate.

Not sure this is a good move by Clay, it'll only bring the situation to a wider audience. He'll get the views but it will be at her expense.

What expense? She already lost her job. They can't take it away again. The extra attention will be heavily in her favor I am going to guess.

Is it cancel culture or karma culture 🤔
The Holy Oracles tells us, what's done in dark will always come to light...
No, none of us is perfect in every way, I can guaran-damn-tee that…you cannot honestly say you have never said something you regretted.. or changed as a person.. nobody allows anyone any grace at all now

Agree, people definitely can mature and everyone does make mistakes.

And maybe some jobs would let her do that. But not this one, as is the business’s right, isn’t it?
technically, yes.. It’s a right to work state 😂 that throws a whole other element to it.. I am pretty sure employers go through everyone’s social media with a fine tooth comb now, especially if you are in the public eye… so they don’t have to deal with crap like this

By making it national. Extra attention is good in some cases I don't see this as having a positive spin in her favor. Yes, young and dumb mistakes happen but half the country will view it as how she was raised and it's tolerated as it was left up all these year.

I don't doubt she'll get hired by someone. This will be over after the weekend and Tennessee will have moved on.

. Would not play well nationally.. I watch the Bachelorette (I know, I know.. I’m a girl).. and they crucified some poor girl because her sorority had an antebellum themed sorority party, and they cancelled the host chris harrison after like 20 years, because cancel culture stuff.. he stuck up for her.. gone… Zero tolerance.. I’ll probably be canceled too 😂 I was in a sorority )and we did stupid stuff.. I recall having my underarm fat circled with a marker lol), I was a debutante, and I’m in the DAR…I’m sure my time is nigh 😂 Things that were considered by most to be good and something to aspire to are now considered shameful.. it’s a wild ride lol

Another reason I’m not on social media

Anonymous SM like VN is the only SM that I participate in. I really don't care what somebody I went to HS with kids are doing or that they made the travel tiddlywinks team and are going to nationals. I don't post that stuff about my life because I seriously doubt that people I knew from HS give a crap about my life. Especially if I haven't spoken to them since.... HS. If people are important, they will be in your life anyway. Maybe I am just an old fuddy duddy but I really don't care for SM. Especially when it is used to cancel somebody for something they did as a kid 10-15 years ago.

Tragic but not seeing anything absurd.
We have wildly different ideas on what should get someone locked up apparently.

To me - shooting an innocent little girl that wasn’t even apart of the situation and not going to prison for being a complete moron is absurd. Oh not to mention….murder.

Murder is intentionally killing someone. Are you claiming he intentionally killed the little girl?

Why don't we look at what set all the wheels in motion. The article is a hit piece on permitless carry. If he had a permit, would it have made you feel better?
