That is true. I do wear mine now. We stressed it to our kids so much when they were young, if I ever tried to pull out of the driveway without it on while one of the kids was in the car with me they would make sure I knew about it. lol
My dad rolled a car several times. People who witnessed the accident didn't expect to find survivors, but he got away with no serious injuries. Car was German (VW) and he was wearing his belt. I was 5 or 6 at the time, but it left a deep impression with me. In 1969, people largely didn't wear them, and would have complained bitterly if forced to, but my life would have been very different without them, then and now.

Complain. Talk about your rights. Bow up. Use poop emojies.

Then wear it for the sake of the people who love you.

Tough look defending this

First of all, the cops could’ve done better by de-escalating, but Tyreek deserves the majority of the blame. He was speeding without wearing a seatbelt and was driving recklessly. He refused to comply with the officers directions as well, which is why he was put in handcuffs. Scottie Scheffler was treated worse than Tyreek. I’m so tired of the “oh all cops are bad” ********. People like you and everyone who liked your post need to stop with the race baiting.

If this was a white dude, the cops would still be in the wrong. Stop making it about race instead of these ****** cops.

So you’re saying Hill was 100% innocent? He was speeding, driving recklessly, and refused to comply with the officers commands, which was why he was put in cuffs. I’m not saying the cops were completely right, but damn, people like Tyreek need to show some respect and actually comply with cops. He did neither. Stop putting all the blame on those cops.

Ladies, everyone is an *******.

Hope that helps?

Again, you're trying to define what is "too fast" for someone else. Common sense is not driving faster than you can handle. Not faster than Glitch thinks you can handle.
A driver 100% categorically is more likely to cause an accident when driving at a higher rate of speed. I feel like you arguing contrary to that point is a borderline troll attempt because you are obviously not dumb. Your "you don't know what too fast is for me, only I know what too fast is for me" argument is honestly ridiculous. Respectfully, lol.

Slow drivers should be courteous and move over when someone who wants to drive faster than they are going comes up behind them. That would solve some of the road rage problems.
I stated previously that any candidate running for elected office will get my vote if they ran on a platform that they would criminalize driving slowly in the left lane. That is also a cause of accidents. And will be the cause of my early death due to the stress is places on my heart.

The ignorance in this thread is strong. Probable Cause existed for the traffic stop. Follow the instructions of the officers. If they tell you to roll down your window…roll it down. If they tell you to exit your vehicle…get you a$$ out. Following instructions is the way to avoid any escalation.

Unless you have walked in the shoes of a law enforcement officer, then you have no idea as to the dangers of a simple traffic stop possesses. All law enforcement actions pose some risk.

For everyone’s safety, obey their directives. They are in control of the situation. If you think otherwise, your parents either did not raise you properly or you disgrace them.

I think the bigger point is lost when we focus attention on the fact that Hill deserved to be pulled over because he was driving too fast or not wearing a seat belt. That's not the bigger point. Even if it was a frivolous traffic stop, you seek justification for that after the situation is over.

During the traffic stop you absolutely follow all reasonable police orders explicitly. Roll window down, yes sir. Leave it down, yes sir. Leave your hands on the steering wheel, yes sir. Anything else they tell, yes sir. That makes sure that police officers have absolutely no reason to escalate the situation.

Then after it is over, you seek justification if the traffic stop was frivolous. Get a lawyer. Demand the body cam footage. Etc. But you don't try to "take your stand" during the altercation.

for someone to talk about ignorance in the thread then you say this. Big yikes

There is also danger for citizens interacting with police. Unless you’ve had a cop disrespect you and your rights then you have no idea the dangers of interacting with a cop on a power trip.

Your last line is basically “If you disagree with me, your parents raised you wrong”

Shut the **** up with that.

But again you have to be smart about your decisions. The cop might absolutely be in the wrong. The copy absolutely might be on a power trip. But you know the easiest way to diffuse a cop on a power trip? Say yes sir and obey everything he asks you to do. That is a simple way to make sure the situation does not escalate. Then after the situation is over you go to the police station and file a complaint. You get a lawyer if it the situation was completely out of line. They will review the body cam footage and vindicate you. And if the footage shows you obeying everything they asked you to do and yet the cop still acting inappropriately then guess who will be much more likely to get a favorable outcome....you. When you try to prove to a cop on a power trip that you are in charge of the situation and you won't let yourself be "talked to in that way" then you are not doing anything but make the situation worse.

And I disagree. Guess we're at an impasse.

That's part of the problem. The cops are on the job. Yes, Hill acted like a dumbass, but that's zero excuse for the cops to act unprofessional. They helped to escalate the problem. They could have remained calm and professional, even in removing him from his car, but they did not.

As well as passing at excessive speed in the rightmost lane when a lane or two to the left are available. Cutting back left after passing into a minimal opening creates real danger with those leaving a left lane to honor the keep right except to pass mandates.

One of my good buddies that’s a die hard UK fan “that’s the dumb sh*t will’s gotta stop”

He has all the talent but he might be a r*tard
that's a bit much.

Folks with special needs are super human beings, very humble and willing to help.

Levis is a turbo douche, and thinks he is the team. That's the problem.
