Maybe. But if the tight end hangs on and/or Nico doesn't throw behind the open wr over the middle we had a good chance to score.Was just thinking about the difficulty in running 2 minute hurry up offense with those super wide WR splits bc you can only run sideline routes from the inside WRs and communicating in hurry up all the way out past the numbers is a chore.
The plays were there, players didn't execute.
Burning 15 seconds after the long pass to Thornton (the refs waited a LONG time to wind the clock too) was a coaching issue on our hurry up for sure. But we seemed to be in positions to win if the players hadn't executed poorly.
