At the end of the day there’s a talent gap, but there’s not a 25 point talent gap. Period. Coaches gotta figure out what’s not working on the road. Next year we have UF, Bama and UGA on the road. Gotta win one to make the playoffs again most likely. Figure. It. Out.

I think we have decent developers, but we desperately need some recruiting mercenaries. I like the idea of a dedicated recruiting staff with the staff reductions being gone. Bring in the talent and let our coaching staff develop.

Yes we did. For all the glaring deficiencies offensively especially. Let’s regroup and go win 10 again next year. We’ll be back in the playoffs several more times under Heup. Just need a better showing next time.

No. We didn't. The only person that overachieved this year was the person that cobbled together the weak-ass schedule we played, and that nearly cost us a spot in the playoffs. We had only one impressive win this year – Alabama in Neyland.

People rave about Garner but in the biggest games, the DL gets owned (tonight, the GA games, Bama last year). Not sure if Chop or a change should be made.

The DL was a non factor for sure. Ran out of steam or something. Defense needs an overhaul. If that means Garner getting a retirement check, so be it. Gotta be on the same page. The most talented unit on the field laid an egg.

They obviously watched what Georgia did against us. We have to make improvements, but overall, it's been a good season. Just disappointed.

Great season but
We played three good offense all year and won 1 and got smoked in the other 2
I guess I was blindly misled by the defense
Offense has got to get back tempo unless we upgrade oline

Next year road games against bama and Florida are gonna be important to change the narrative on us

Most every D lineman is double teamed because Banks refuses to blitz or stunt. He stunts very little. It's really not fair. The defense is as vanilla as most high school teams. Our scheme is really an embarrassment for some dude making $2mm a year.

I’m not out on Banks yet but Martinez needs to get and bring Elarbee and Halzle with him. What we saw from Banks tonight was being outgunned. Guys like McCoy don’t look like AA’s all season then just suck without a massive talent difference being the culprit.

Halzle and Earlabee have been consistent liabilities every stinking game.

Banks is way out of his league and it shows when he goes against good o coordinators. Chip Kelly schooled him and showed this.

There's nothing to learn, good grief is right.

We didn't have the talent, we didn't have the coaches to overcome the talent gap. The talent gap isn't going to correct itself, we're recruiting at the same level we always have for the most part.

Problem is the talent isn't being developed at a concerning amount of positions on both sides of the ball.

And as I stated before we'd have killed 5 years ago to be here....... And I appreciate that.

But let's not pretend that it all comes down to some epiphany, something we need to learn........ This is an internal issue that Heupel either will or won't address. I'm very worried that he has your mindset.

The O just isn’t the same. Not even close. We used to run up your ass and get a play off every 3 seconds.

When did it change?…we’ve flexed/leaned on Sampson all year no issues..if you take away our run nothing is left..only me and @TrippieRedd that I’ve noticed has stressed this…going into the playoffs one dimensional was something that couldn’t happen and…..it happened…if it weren’t for Sampson in some of these games this season..they would have been a losses..he’s by far our best work horse but he can only do so much.where was the creativity that JH was grinning about in the new conference?..how could this not be on JH?…we had two weeks to prepare and only manage to drum up 17 points?…give me a new OC who won’t micromanage our 5* QB that’s being paid a million dollars.
