The AD has pretty much got all the revenue from ticket sells at this point right? Not showing up to the games will only hurt concession sales. Is that enough to force Currie’s hand finance wise?

Lackluster popcorn sales is what did Buzz Peterson in, so reason for optimism I suppose.

Unbelievable.

We waited until our biggest east rival could get into the coaching carousel before we even make a move. Brilliant.

LA Vol was right, our University is very poorly run. I hope the big boosters are calling and cursing everyone involved with this fiasco this morning. What a frustrating mess.

As I noted in a post last night, it doesn't appear that there is going to be any news today of any kind.

I did formally request a statement from John Currie last night regarding his football program and I have been told this morning that Currie is not likely to make any kind of statement. That could change, but as of this morning, it doesn't seem like any statement of any kind is coming.

"Don't worry, everyone, it's definitely happening this week."

"Okay, my sources are saying this week for sure."

"They're doing it after the Kentucky game, based on what I've heard."

"Jon Gruden is coming."

If you seriously think currie might keep Jones then I don't know what your smoking. This is all smoke and mirrors for public perception to potential coaches that he will be in your corner and be given every opportunity to succeed meanwhile at florida you have fans threatening to kill their coach that win the division his first 2 yrs and they are trying to find ways to not pay him and kick to curb..... we may be impatient and not care but I'd say the type of coaches you want care.

Hell, they're going to call him a liar in court in order to avoid paying him the money he's contractual obligated to. THAT should look bad to other coaches.

I’ve been thinking this too

Florida has a trigger finger on coaches and turning on nice guy Mac like this over death threats is a whole lot of bad look

Tim Irwin said IF we make a change these are the coaches he would be looking at.

David Cutcliffe
Jim Chaney
Dan Mullen

He said the right hire is far more important than this recruiting class. He said this recruiting class will be a wash now anyway

It's really weaselly for sure, especially considering there's absolutely no way anyone believes the real reason for his firing is lying about death threats.
