Won’t be surprised if McElwain gave up part of his buyout. If not though, that’s 10+ million UF will owe him and UF didn’t even blink.

If I’m Hubbs or any of these paysites, I’m worried about this next hire.

For my part, while I like Brent, I wouldn’t pay him two bent nickels to tell me about Mike Bobo’s spring break eating regimen.

Unfortunately, the only history our AD and donors have exhibited is that they are afraid to make a meaningful decision and are not willing to pay big dollars to try to make us elite again.

I’m ready for it to be finished just like everyone else.

All that matters though is the hire. Firing early means zero and Florida skirting around a buyout doesn’t help them. It hurts them.

The next hire is what matters.

That said I would have fired him after UGA.

I agree and if you have read my earlier post I've said exactly that. If this is his plan and it's playing out exactly as it's supposed to, it better be a dam good plan.

He’s been right since before the season. He called it. We didn’t want to believe him. Only thing he was wrong about is who would be fired first. He didn’t count on Florida caring much more about winning than TN
