Yes don't bring them in for Florida because they're recruiting these guys, but bring them in for Missouri because....oh yes they're recruiting those guys...pure genius idea.

And if you think the atmosphere for the Florida game is remotely close to what it will be for the Mizzou game you're more lost than I though.

There will not be gators all around, you're sadly mistaken. Will there be gator fans, sure, but there will be more UT fans at that game than any other game.

The atmosphere all around campus is at a level that you simply can't comprehend. I don't expect you to be knowledgable on UT tradition, but when you suggest CBD will get exposure to these kids at neyland stadium you look incredibly foolish.

What is phone access? I am sure Donavon has access to a phone whenever he puts his hand in his pocket. How does UT hosting recruits during the Florida football game change that or make any difference.

And I doubt there will be that many Gators around this year as in 2010. They're picked middle of the pack like UT. Not much reason for Gator fans to travel to Knoxville this year.

How do you know what the atmosphere for the Mizzou game will be like?

Once again clueless, Haith is the lead recruiter for both, good try though.

Forgot a first year matchup will rival a historic game that is looked forward to each and every year as THE GAME.

Do yourself a favor, just stop.

You're right. I have no idea what campus is like for a UF game or any other game for that matter. No matter how many countless games I go to, I'll just never know. Poor me.

I never said Billy D would get exposure, I said Florida would get exposure. My guess is that Billy D calls these kids afterwards (or during, if he has phone access to them at the time), asks how the visit was, asks if they enjoyed the game, rubs in the UT loss if it goes down that way, points out that there were tons of Gator fans that made the trip, etc. I could go on and on.

Just suprising that CCM would give him that opportunity. Maybe he's that confident.

Ryan Miller was the coach that was recruiting Nichols (and Hubbs) i believe. Frank Haith enver recruits anyone himself unless he has a dufflebag with $10k in it, and even then he gets a bagman.

All my UT friends are going crazy for the Mizzou game. Maybe you need to get out more.

Not sure how true this is but a Mizzou poster came on here a couple of days ago and said Haith was the lead in these kids. I would imagine Mizzou would look pretty silly sending assistants when both of these kids are getting direct contact with head coaches pretty regularly. But maybe Mizzou is concentrating on recruits they feel like they can get and are investing time in those kids, no idea.

Either way, it should be interesting.

Miller is cousins with Nichols coach, or something, which is how Mizzou got involved in the first place.

Frank Haith is a mope of epic proportions, and he may be the "lead recruiter" by title, but I'd be surprised if he could get a kindergartener to commit to him with that personality of his. He had his assistants do all his leg work at the U, I doubt it's changed in a year.

No miller wasn't, once again youre incorrect. Did he play a pivotal part in getting MizZou involved, yes, but he was not the lead recruiter. It's ok though don't let the facts get in your way or anything.

I'm sure the two of them are, however, the rest of the fanbase like every other year will create the most impressive game day for the Florida game.

Are you denying that bringing the kids in for a UF game gives Florida more exposure to them, and their coach another topic of conversation and possibly a new selling point.

MC is either just arguing to argue at this point or too dense to actually be able to reason with.

Basketball recruits have always eaten up the big football atmosphere when they came on visits.

Florida fans being in his general vicinity couldn't matter less.

The whole Billy Donovan argument makes so little sense it boggles the mind.

Josh Selby decommitting is completely separated from the fact that he committed after visiting for a football game. I can't imagine why someone would try and correlate the two.
