Paint the fence.
There was a thread in the football forums, I think, about it. I agreed with most posters, that protecting a rock seemed rather silly. It's a rock, what are they afraid is going to happen to it that a chain link fence will prevent? Anyway, it should be good to go by the Florida game.
Rob Lewis said earlier today he is hearing September 15th as a date for BOTH hubbs and Nichols to take their visit to Tennessee.
For those that don't know, that's a Saturday, happens to be Florida-Tennessee game at Neyland Stadium.
I like bringing in both guys together at the same time for a BIG football game. Note that this could definitely change.
Interesting that he'd bring them in for the Florida game. UF is going after both pretty hard.
I remember for the last UF game here, Gator fans were everywhere and UT didn't fare all to well in the actual game either.
Chancey move by CCM.

Disagree. I don't think a matchup with Florida in football will really play a role in either of their decisions. He is bringing them in that weekend because of the atmosphere that game creates in Knoxville. If UT loses, I can't see much disadvantage as it relates to some basketball recruits. If UT wins though, the atmosphere around campus will be at a fever pitch. In 2008, UT brought Jordan McRae and Josh Selby and both committed shortly after. UT lost that game 30-6. It's a great atmosphere for recruits in any sport to get caught up in the hype and atmosphere, regardless of results.
Well I assume that is why as well, unless he is insinuating we cheated to get him. The decommit is irrelevant though. It was the excitement generated over the visit that helped persuade him to initially commit. MC's theory is full of holes IMO.

I don't have a story and I wasn't insinuating anything. I don't think Pearl cheated to get Selby to commit, and I've never said anything remotely close to that. But Selby never signed with you guys, so I think he's a bad example.
In this instance, the decommit is completely relevant. I'm also not aware that Florida was recruiting Selby or McRae, like they are (heavily) with Hubbs and Nichols.
