Any time anyone enters into a discussion about their beliefs (or lack there of), it can't help but reaffirm their positions as they have to make their case for it.

I was probably more of an agnostic than atheist before posting in these sort of threads on here. Now I am definitely sure I am an atheist.

Hell, I do not know that i blame you IP. After reading the last few pages, I do not know if ANYONE can ever do enough to earn heaven.

I took 20 years. There's only you, me and the rest of us. There's no one up there.

And I am not even sure that taking up Christianity for "blessings" is even theologically valid. Unless you are saying "blessings in eternity."

Then, no thanks. Besides, the agenda for heaven sounds about as torturous as hell's.

I remember as kids in Sunday school, my sister and I had the descriptions of heaven read to us from Revelations, and were told it would be endlessly praising God- like being in church forever.

That wasn't as well received as perhaps the teacher had hoped.
