Religious leadership on this team and Bryce Brown...

I'd rather Live believing there is a God, and finding out there is not, than to live believing there is no God, and finding out there is.
You've got a lot more religions to join if you're going to use Pascal's insurance policy.

God doesn't send you to hell. He gives you an option. I wasn't sure God existed either at one point, then I found out. All of the Bible was written my mans hand, but inspired by God. Thats almost like saying that and all powerful God could not do a simple thing like,"Hey you! Write this down!" If He can create a universe and man, He could certainly get mans attention long enough to have that man write down what He wanted to say. People take dictation every day!

Soooo......you're saying God can't place people where he wants if he so desired, despite what happened while on earth? Of course he's the one that sends you to hell, he's the one that made the rules and set up the game. All this bad logic about free will being a gift because he loves us is nonsense. Being omnipotent, he would have to know that the "gift" of free will would inevitably lead to people burning in hell. Why intentionally create something only to watch it suffer for eternity? This is to say nothing of trying to fit people that are born psychopaths (Hitler, Manson, etc) and criminal narcissists into this absurd 'round robin.

Go ahead and commence now with divine circular logic to explain this silliness.

....the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time.

...but He loves you.

All GOD expects from us is love for him and to accept him as your Lord and savior. No cash or credit necessary. What does it mean to a man to gain all the world and lose heaven which is paved in gold.

I'm coming into this having only read the last few posts, but I say better to be poor for the sixty or seventy short years on earth and rich beyond measure for eternity, than the other way around.

but GOD would expect something in return...are you ready for that commitment
You really are lost. You do not see the light. I bet you do not even attend a sunday session church. One of those voters who guesses, but is not sure. You have all the time in the world to accept Christ, but you are not guarenteed your next breath. Then what? What does Christ beleive? Everthing else is most likely evil. Just make sense of it.

I appreciate your words of wisdom there NC. You have misunderstood my conversation with Droski. I was ribbing him because he is a non believer. I was also trying to lighten the tension in the thread at the time I made the posts.
The JOKE about Warren Buffet was because Droski is in the world of finance. Get it? Also, because he knows that I have met WB.
But hey, thanks for assuming that I "have no light" in my life. I AM saved.

Haha, you barked up the wrong tree on this one! That's what you get for making knee-jerk assumptions.

Lot of judging going on in here...who are we to judge people as Christians? I thought our goal was to try to help people share our faith, to spread the Word of God and to lead a life of praise and worship towards God. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everyone has to be perfect so please don't misconstrue what I'm saying and view me as being on a soapbox. In fact, I'm probably far less perfect than some Christians on here...but I'm trying hard to learn from my mistakes. Keep the faith, fellow Christians, and keep up the hard work...because remember, in the end there is only one Judgement that matters.

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away" - Revelations 21:4. Oh, what a great day that will be...

Sorry to have been out of the Loop until now. Its been a rough past month or so. Sorry T, I misunderstood your post.
To someone reading the above post who do not "beleive", Life is all around us. To think life just happens, is like saying two walmart trucks hit one another and a computer is evolved...YOU have one maker. If you do not beleive now, it is not too late. Christ will accept you as soon as you accept him. Christ will send those to heaven who have not heard of him, just as "new born" who dies.
