The messages that reach most people don't seem to be in line with that though. More along the lines of "Such and such isn't a real conservative and/or has Obama cooties."
ahh, and there you have it folks, it's LG's fallback position that any criticism of Obama must be based on racism
it's gone beyond asinine to just plain pathetic
Who are "most people"?
I'm stunned that you and LG are claiming that the GOP candidates have not expressed why they want to be POTUS. They do it every time they open their mouths. It has been a core part of every debate and every post election speech.

In every debate, in every speech they talk about why they want to be president, their view of how America should be governmend and specific policies they will pursue. What about those topics is NOT saying why they should be president?
Since they have opponents, they also talk about why they are a better choice.

All I've heard is hollow talking points. I didn't say they haven't expressed themselves in a positive light, they do but they do intermix messages with electing the anti-Obama. I've also tried to catch a good number of campaign spots, and they're overwhelmingly negative.
I've even heard it time and again on here. This election for the GOP base is all about removing Obama than anything else, is it not?

"Food stamp President" is just freaking blatant.
And is indeed why the phrase was/is so popular amongst the toothless legion that is South Carolina.
aren't more white people on food stamps? I applaud LG for calling out racism no matter who it is against :hi:
Calling him the "Food Stamp President" is simply red meat for those voters who believe that every single thing Obama does is designed to take money from white people and give it to black people.
Sadly, I have heard comments indicating people actually believe that 100 % and they don't care for your pesky facts.
