I would hate to be in your shoes. You are one miserable guy. For someone who constantly spews rhetoric concerning individual responsibility, you sure let the libs control your thoughts

oh i'm not miserble, i'm happy. i'm not a liberal.

you don't think that prayer sounds ridiculous after we just elected a black president (well half black). anyone to say pray as if blacks are still riding in the back of the bus, is still living in the 60's. libs constantly want America not to see color, but everyday you guys have to remind us who's white, who's black. etc... if you guys want to end racism, stop putting everyone in a race box.

that's all you heard from the left, race, gender, race, gender.

YOu guys???????

You're unbelievably divisive and you don't even know it. Has there ever been a time in your life when you didn't generalize and actually differentiated a thought?

Here's what I think of the prayer? I don't give a damn. It's not that big of a deal.

BTW, just based on your posts.....you are easily the most miserable person on here. You complain about anything and everything. What are you so worried about? Your taxes aren't going to increase. They are going to decrease. I voted for Obama knowing my taxes were going to increase. Guess what??? I don't give a damn if it means no child is going to be without heatlthcare

you can't be serious. Can you imagine someone of any other race saying something so blatantly racist and divisive and getting a "who cares" response? It was absolute garbage, especially coming on the heels of Obama's history lesson and drivel about unity.

I actually didn't hear it. Just have read bits and pieces. I was busy, so I didn't get a chance to go over and watch it at the PAC.. I suppose it was a little over the top, but its spilled milk now. Time to move on

oh that is rich, quite the martyr. it's sad that you think only the government can be the saviour of the children. and you call yourself a moderate.

We've had the new deal now for over 60 years and hasn't it solved anything, it hasn't eliminated the "poor." if anything it has caused more people to become reliant on an insufficient government wants to force more people to rely on them

if feel you need to let the government spend and waste more of your money, then that's fine, as long as you feel good about yourself.

i would rather i keep my money and give it groups that are more efficient in helping the poor.

i do wish i was going to get more money back from hussein o's tax plan, but they'll be going up as soon as Bush's tax cuts expire.

It is, but it was shocking, especially since the guy was rapping the prayer. Just another in the line of Obama's Black Liberation Theology house.

Is that because home prices are too inflated in their area? Many times that is the case especially in major metro cities. The funny thing is they could afford a much better lifestyle in a different region of the country but choose to stay where they are because they have grown comfortable and we make it easy for them to do so.

Granted this is not true in all cases but in many it is.

yup. where i live to get any approval for a new apt or housing complex you need 10-15% affordable housing. many of these apartments go to people on welfare. my question is why are people entitled to live somewhere? is there really something wrong with poor people not being able to afford to live near the beach? if these same people moved to arizona or rural nevada they'd have a much higher standard of living.

You people are still talking about the 2000 election.

let's face it with unemployment benefits being extended you have to be a complete lazy ass or wackjob to end up on welfare.

what the hell is that supposed to mean?

I'm guessing he means liberals. Actually only the really Left still cry much about that but they're out there, I've heard a couple (in person) that still try to rally around on that one.

Tropic Thunder has really done a number on the phrase "you people".

If you think that prayer spoken in that moment is no big deal there may be no hope for you. On his first day, Obama has already shown an absolute lack of class and decorum. If he handles his other official duties as well as this, we have a hard road ahead.

Recount Movie

It was meant to poke fun at him a little, but Tropic thunder was a good movie.

Believe me, nobody, especially no man that I know that's worth his salt, wants to be on welfare. To know that you can't do things by yourself is depressing to say the least. But, without the welfare, most of those people are living in a refrigerator box downtown.

99% of those people are where they're at because of the choices they made in life. No one put them there, it wasn't corporate greed, their parents or society, it was themselves.
