Per CBS sports. I am glad that he is in the ACC. This should put a dent in UF's ability to get top in-state recruits.

Great hire for them and good for him. He got a raw deal at GA and gets to go home. Hope he owns the ACC and state of Florida.

If he can keep the Miami area kids home and pick his spots with out of state kids he'll be fine.

Repeating what he did at UGA for 3-5 at Miami will be a step in the right direction for that program if they let him step away on his own terms in the end.

However, in the ACC, with only Clemson and FSU consistently posing a threat...the same approach may result in different results.

Unless they build a new stadium, Richt is destined to fail. UCF built a beautiful 45,000 seat stadium for $55M. I really dont see what the problem is, other than
Donna Smalamadingdong.

IMO I think Richt will do good at Miami. Like I said before, the right coach at Miami can really get it going. Richt is smack dab right in the middle of the best recruiting grounds in the nation. I think before its said and done this year, Richt ends up with quite a few of his GA commits. IMO Miami couldn't have got a better coach than Richt. It would not surprise me if Miami rises back to the top in a few seasons. Maybe even faster if Richt can put up a border around south Florida, and keep all the talent at home playing for the Miami. Its a good move by both parties. I think that GA was crazy to let Richt go. I really believe that Richt will get Miami back to being the U!

Good for him. Got a raw deal IMHO. He won a LOT of games and kept it exciting in Athens every year. In this age of MUST WIN EVERY YEAR, he always had his team competitive. I do agree that he underachieved at times with the talent he brought in, but is a hell of a coach all around. Even Osborne and Paterno had down years. Richt always had UGA in the conversation. Glad he gets to go home.

UGA football is my least favorite team in all of sports and I can't wait for his firing to backfire like I'm certain it will.
